Supershieldz (2 Pack) Designed for LG V20 Tempered Glass Screen Protector, (Full Screen Coverage) Anti Scratch, Bubble Free (Black)

I tried a couple other screen protectors before this one, and in fact the first time I got a supershieldz I wasn't super blown away by it. The fit was OK-ish, but doing it by hand without following the instructions, the results were a bit off. Next time I used one (the second in the set), I finally bothered to check the website and realized exactly what those 3 guide stickers are for. Following the process to a T, it really is fool proof, just take your time and don't rush the alignment. Screen protector itself holds up well, not resistant in any way to scratches but, better the protector get scratched than the screen! For $7 for 2, you really can't go wrong, I'll continue to use these unless there's some cheap miracle alternative this easy to install which is also more durable.

As far as coverage and protection, it's great. Covers the main screen, second screen, and bezels. There's not too much glare either. The viewing quality is preserved. The packaging and application is second to none! But it's not perfect. I have a full review, TL;DR it's the best tempered glass screen protector. For that, 5/5 The touch sensitivity has decreased a lot after applying. In fact, the touch screen is all but unresponsive when laying flat. It has to be tilted in some way to register touch. I suspect it's due to the adhesive being on the sides of the protector, creating a small air gap in the center. Like air in a bottle, laying it flat means air in the gap tries to rise straight up, so there's more space and less contact between fingers and the touch screen than when the screen is angled. That's also probably the cause of the small rainbow halo effect in the middle of the screen (when off) when it's placed under bright light. Also, the proximity sensor now senses something too close to the phone all the time. That's quite annoying if you use the "Knock-on" [double tap to wake screen] feature. The feature simply won't work in low-light anymore. In calls, the screen goes black and moving it away from the ear doesn't help. So you have to get it under light again - OR press the power button - to press anything on the phone screen, which makes ending phone calls frustrating. Basically, any time the phone uses the proximity sensor it senses too close because of the glass surrounding it. The sides are rounded off, which is more comfortable, but the corners could stand to be a bit more rounded off too. As it is they can be sharp if you run your fingers on the corners, not enough to hurt but it's uncomfortable. It's to be expected, these are the common drawbacks of tempered glass protectors. You could use a PET film screen protector instead to get around most, if not all, of these problems. However, they offer less protection from drops, scratch easily, and suffer from glare and reduced overall image quality. Overall, I still choose this over other similar products... when I'm using a screen protector. Which says something about the quality of Tempered Glass Screen Protectors if this is the best one.

They fit well and are very easy to install, but these things are so fragile. I haven't even had them a month and both the protectors have cracked. One broke the first day! If you're prone to even very small fumbles with your phone, this protector is not for you. Update 9/5: Seller contacted me to see if I was interested in a replacement. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try, so I said yes. I've had much more success with the second pack I received. The quality is good and it's an easy fit. My only issue now is that somehow a little dust has crept under the screen and lives there now. So, I wouldn't say they are perfect, but they do protect the screen.

I am really bad about dropping my phone. I am now on my 3rd screen protector for my V20, and this brand has saved my screen from devastating drops every time. The last instance i dropped my phone while shuffling things trying to leave exit me car in a hurry when I was running late, and it dropped face down on the pavement of a parking lot. This screen protector endured the entire impact. I had to order a new one, but well worth this screen protector cracking, than my actual phone screen. This brand does the job, while still being very affordable. Taking the broken screen protector off was easy, and it all came off in one chunk. Installing the new one was super easy, and this package comes with screen wipes, making it and all in one, easy to apply process. Got it on there on the first try and with zero bubbles. It is so crisp and clean that I would'nt even know there is a screen protector on there had I not applied it myself. Highly recommend.

Not worth it. Inside of glass had scratches, only edges have glue, and seems to be no oleophobic coating. Looks like a chinese one, and they are more value for money.

I installed the screen protector on my LG V20. first remove the phone case. After you remove the old plastic screen protector, make sure you use the alchohol pad provided. I just lined it up by eye.Start at the selfie camera end, and make sure the camera is exactly in the middle of the round hole on the new screen protector.Slowly drop the new glass onto the phone keeping the new glass slightly curved to avoid any air bubbles.Just make sure the glass is square to the edges of the phone. Much better than the original.

No bubbles, peace of mind and easy installation.

Haven't broken or scratched my screen to be able to tell how well it works in that situation, but regarding application and quality, this screen protector seems pretty robust.
