Why did you pick this product vs others?: Rich consistent taste. This has been my "Wake up Now!" coffee for years.

I was skeptical because I didnt like some of Green Mountains other flavors but this was exceptional! I have been on a K-Cup journey of sorts to find the best K-Cup coffee out there. I have tried many many brands and flavors, french, iIalian, Colobian, etc. Starbucks, Donut shop, Eight O'clock you name it. This is probably the best K-Cup coffee I have had if you like dark roasts. Its FULL of flavor, even in a bigger mug (this is sometimes a problem as it can have a watered down flavor if you pour more than 8 oz). Its nice and dark but without the "bite" at the end, meaning not much acidity. I had to purchase the BIG pack (really 6x12 packs) of this to get it and boy am I glad I did. I brought this to one of our offices for work and upon pouring a cup a co-worker said "wow, now THATS a quality cup of coffee" and as a side note: we live in Seattle - home of the coffee snobs. If you are a Dark Roast fan, do yourself a favor and buy this. You will not regret it!

I have been using the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Sumatra Reserve for making lattes and iced coffee drinks for years. The coffee flavor really comes through even when diluted 50/50 with steamed milk for lattes. In the Summer, I make flavored, iced coffee using Coffee Mate creamer (which you can find on Amazon now in a concentrated pump). When I use the grocery store variety, I use about one ounce of creamer in a tall plastic glass. I fill the glass with ice and directly brew the Sumatra Reserve (using the Strong 8 ounce setting) into the glass. The coffee flavor holds through until every drop of ice is melted. Note that I have tried the big chain version of Sumatra and it does not have the same bold flavor - Sorry SB.

It's Organic. IMO, it's A Rich dark roast coffee without bitterness. I do add stevia & a splash of cream. I look forward to having THIS every morning. The pod is easy to use. I enjoy the added benefit of lower pricing with scheduled deliveries.
