Perfect for beardies. This is a great price, ive been using the previous new bulb for 10months, the difference with the new bulb was immediate the light although like for like was a different white so was obs on the way out.The seller replied in an hr, and despatched the item the same day as purchase so very impressed with customer service.The delivery company used was a day late so 5 days from payment to door.I will be buying another so I always have a spare if needed immediately.I would recommend

Good quality D3 bulb
Bought as a replacement light for my tortoises, it's been a year and the bulb needs replaced every 12 months.I use a non light emitting ceramic heater bulb and use this for their light that way I can switch the Arcadia D3 light off at night but leave the ceramicheat bulb on.Didn't realise how much it had dimmed my old bulb seemsso bright when new bulb.Pricey bulb but they all cost around the same price whatever brand but it's necessary for torts to have a D3 light for their shells health. I trust Arcadia brand. Their lamps and the lamp for the ceramic heat bulb lasts wellSent by seller in a secure cardboard poster tube which is great turned up intact.Will upload a pic

Really good light! Use an Arcadia reflector!
I got the light and my UV Meter indicated that it's not as good as it should be. So I left a 1 star review as I was upset. The seller contacted me and told me that the reflector I was using(Sunblaster Nanoreflector) is known to be bad for UVB. So I ordered an Arcadia reflector from the seller. When I got it, I was pretty skeptical but I put the meter under the light. Wow! It actually makes a difference!With the Sunblaster reflector it only gave me a reading on 70 on my UVB 6.2 meter, at about 12 inches distance. With Arcadia reflector I get about 110-130 reading! Problem solved! After that I ordered an Arcadia ProT5 kit that comes with Dragon bulb and fixture and reflector. Even better!Bottom line, it's a good bulb if you use an arcadia reflector!

Packaging was pristine and protected
Do research and make sure this light will work for you’re species of animal, the distance from where the light will set compared to where the animal will bask, that it’s not the same length of your enclosure so the animal can escape it and that however it will be mounted it will remain a good UVB percentage (mesh lids obscure the amount of UVB penetrating down to the animal) all that said this is the exact like I needed for my Uromastyx in a 4’x2’x2’ PVC enclosure . It was packaged well ensuring it took no damage which is greatly appreciated.
