Luigi Bormioli Top Class Highball Glasses - Clear, 11.75 Oz, Set of 6

I'm rarely motivated to write product reviews, but these glasses are remarkable. Unlike similar glasses that can weigh twice as much, these are a mere 5.3 ounces (less than noted in the Amazon description), and although the glass is very thin, they seem to be quite resistant to breakage (none) in the months I've had them. They are dishwasher safe. The overall height is about 5 3/16" and 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top. "Luigi Bormioli" is lightly etched on the bottom of the elegant-looking glasses. These would be a good choice for someone with arthritis or reduced hand strength, plus they just feel nice in the hand.

I have bought these several times throughout the years because we love them. Very pretty and I get so many compliments on them. What you need to know is they are not thick and can chip easily if put under the ice maker of the refrigerator. If you’re buying for rough and tough family use they are not for you. Beautiful and hold up well if you are careful.

This are nice, lightweight glasses. I would caution that they chip easily being so thin, but otherwise are very nice.

These are around 12 oz as stated in the description. But not what I would call a "highball glass" and certainly nothing like most of the product pictures in the listing. More of an "old fashion" glass. See picture. Other than that, these seem like a nice product. If I had expected old fashion glasses, I would have given them a 5-star review based on initial impressions on quality. I clinked another glass against one putting it on the shelf, and it (the Bormioli) cracked.

This rivals Schott Zwiesel cocktail glasses in cost and quality. I like how thin the glass is around the rim and how light they are. I have a lot of parties and they seem to hold up well. They are thin I must say and a bit short, but they look so sophisticated, it doesn't even matter.

I absolutely love these. The look of them, the feel of holding them, the way they pour. After getting my first set, I ordered a second the next day. All that said, I should note two things: 1) They are fragile. It is part of what makes me love them, but the glass is incredibly thin, and they will break if you are not careful. 2) Compared to a typical set of glasses they are expensive. Bottom line, these are not for everyone, but deliver if you are seeking style over substance.

Love these glasses. Some come chipped sometimes - but returns and replacements have been easy. Will definitely buy more! They hold up in the dishwasher and with everyday use beautifully!

I found one cracked the first week after getting them. So I’d say so much for all the high tech titanium infused glass BS. They are so fragile that someone busted one without even noticing. They’re very attractive otherwise but... :-(

Not what I expected. I thought I was getting the highball glass pictured but the shorter glass is what delivered. Capacity in oz. is correct but size measurements are off. Wondering if I should return mine but I got them at warehouse price. Watch out.

Lovely glasses, very classy. They feel delicate but good quality. Edit: after 3 years of constant use and dishwasher cycles, these glasses have proven to be extremely durable. Not a single breakage, scratch or chip.
