These are great! I love the waistline, it is very flattering and the material is stretchy and not too tight or loose. I love how the back is slightly longer, makes me even more comfortable. These are a great athletic material, the perfect thickness. The zippered pockets are nice to have. I would definitely buy again! For reference, I am 120 lbs, 26 in waist, and the XS fits perfectly.

These Blooming Jelly workout shorts are such a great mix of flattering and functional! The crossover waistband gives them a cute, trendy look while still feeling comfortable and supportive. They’re lightweight, easy to move in, and perfect for workouts, running, walking, or just wearing on busy casual days. I love how they fit without feeling too tight or restrictive. Definitely a fun athletic staple for summer!

Very comfy shorts. They have 2 zipper pockets in the front that have enough room for my phone. They’re a little longer than expected but are perfect for working out or casual wear. They are super thin which is perfect for summer.

These shorts changed my life. I’m not even joking. I live in Central California where it’s triple digits all summer and I work outside, these allow me to hop in the pool, hop out and not change and get work done outside while still looking athletic and semi professional, as they are not tight not too short, not too long, and yet still managed to be flattering. Also, the waistband doesn’t leave awkward marks on your stomach so you can wear them over swimsuit bottoms to the beach! Literally recommend them to every outdoorsy Girl I know.

These shorts are so comfortable! Very lightweight material but doesn’t feel cheap. The waistband is flattering and stays in place, plus it’s stretchy/comfy!! Have not washed yet to see how they hold up but first time wearing them was happy! True to size, I’m 5’ 145 and the L was roomy but stays in place.

The intent, look, and feel of the shorts is great. However, the pockets were the selling point for me. I use my phone with earbuds for music, podcasts, etc., and once I put the phone in one of the pockets, the shorts start to pull down.

I’m going to need these shorts in EVERY color!!! First of all let me say that I just finished a HIIT workout and 1.5 mile walk & the liner is SO comfortable! No constricting elastic riding up m (iykyk) and the waist band is the same material and I can’t even feel it! The shorts are a very light weight material that hang long enough to make me feel like I’m not giving a peep show from behind and I appreciate the zipper pockets that are big enough for my phone to completely fit in and hold it secure because it sucks feeling like you’re going to walk your phone out of your pocket I ordered a large and am so glad they fit on the looser like I had hoped for. A lot of times I ordered shorts and need to go up to an XL because I have a hard-worked-for booty. Anywhoo… I’m definitely putting another order in for these!!! I really wanted to absolutely love these shorts. On paper, they have everything I look for in gym wear: a trendy crossover waistband, a flattering cut, and a built-in liner. While they look amazing when you first put them on in front of the mirror, their performance in the gym leaves a bit to be used. First, the positives. The crossover high-waisted design is incredibly flattering and holds you in without digging into your stomach. The fabric itself is lightweight, breathable, and feels high-quality—it handles sweat well and dries quickly. They also have a great casual athleisure look, making them perfect for running errands, lounging around the house, or just walking the dog. The 3-star rating comes down to how these perform when you actually start moving. These are marketed as workout and running shorts, but the moment I start jogging on the treadmill or doing squats, the outer fabric immediately begins to ride up. Within a few minutes of active movement, the legs bunch up right into the crease of my thighs. I found myself constantly pulling them down between sets, which is incredibly frustrating when you're trying to focus on a workout. If you have any kind of thickness to your thighs, the fabric just doesn't want to stay put. The built-in liner helps keep you covered so you aren't completely exposed, but having the outer shell bunch up constantly ruins the silhouette and causes some minor chafing. If you are buying these strictly for aesthetic purposes, light walking, or casual wear, they are easily a 5-star pair of shorts because they look fantastic. However, if you are looking for reliable athletic shorts for intense running, lifting, or HIIT workouts, the constant riding up makes them pretty impractical. They are decent, but definitely not my go-to for leg day.
