Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Promise Part 3

It's a good complement to the film version we have. My daughter loves it. And why does Amazon need me to write more words, this is silly.

FANTASTIC STORY!Great for any Avatar fan

my son is a fan of the last airbender and has all 3 "books" (seasons) on dvd. i bought these 3 graphic novels for him and he loves them. they carry on from the end of the cartoon series and the the promise part 4 should tie up a few loose ends from the cartoon

great series! absolutely love it! they could be a bit longer but still its a great story...

The books are a Christmas present to my partner who loved the tv animated series,and wanted to find out the ending of his training, but there seems to be a gap in the books(or am I mistaken?). None the less he will still love them.

For fans of the show, these series of comics is a nice continuation. It would have been all too easy for the story to be inconsequential, but the events of the story actually end up having wide ramifications not just for the world Avatar takes place in, but also for the characters.I wouldn't recommend this for people who haven't seen the show though, it's not a very good starting point as this takes place not long after the end of the show and the character dynamics and history can be felt.The art style of these books doesn't differ too much from what we've seen from the show, which in a lot of ways is nice as it allows for familiarity. The fight scenes are well done, having all the kinetic energy of the show in the panels of the book. It also manages to get the humour down pat.Overall, I'd recommend this series of books for fans of the show.
