Lunderg Bedsore Pillow Positioning Wedge - with 2 Non-Slip Pillowcases

The Lunderg Bedsore Pillow wedge is excellent for positioning my patient on his side. It provides much needed support and relieves the pressure on his back. We give it a five out of five.

The pillow is very nice and sturdy and easy instructions on how to put the pillow case on how to use the pillow also you get two pillow cases I am very pleased with this purchase

Pillow is good, but I recommend there’ll be some sort of a handle somewhere to put it in place hold it. It is a large, bulky and also kind of heavy pillow.

Too big, poorly shaped, too firm.

I suggest buying 2 at a time. We used them to create a "hammock" in the recliner to ease the pressure on my husband's bottom. Worked great and he was soooo comfortable!

Just didn’t fit the bill

I ordered this after quite a bit of research on available options for relieving pressure by supporting/elevating the side . My better half has a very significant pressure wound and pillows weren't the answer. The reviews helped a lot and were accurate ( The pictures helped convince me). The curved design and the ability to add (or remove) the extra pillow to adjust the height was the reason I decided this was the one. I wasn't disappointed. The curve is perfect for elevating/relieving pressure at the wound area (sacral) without putting her at an uncomfortable angle. I did not use the extra wedge for an angle for the wound, however it did come in handy for supporting her leg. Easy to position and remove as well.

Unfortunately I was not able to use this product for my mother who has just returned from a torturous time in a rehab. However, I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service from this company. I have heard from the co-owner several times who bent over backwards to see if there was anything that they could do to help my mother. Who could ask for more than that? They are kind and caring and very concerned that their product is something that can be used to help our loved ones or us. Thank you Ignacio! This was truly a good experience

100% recommend it to patients with bed sores. Expensive but worth it! To see your loved one suffer from a bed sore, it's hard to watch. This would be the best gift you can give to them!

This is a really super wedge, makes a big difference in terms of comfort and positioning for management of bed sores. May seem expensive but absolutely worth it, a huge amount of attention to detail obviously gone in to design and making of this product.

Really works… came in handy when my dad was on a hard bed at the hospital. Helped alleviate the pressure. Just make sure you are putting it in the right place where it lifts to alleviate the pressure or else it’s useless. There are a ton of tutorials online

This pillow set is of good quality with its attachments. It comes with 2 different pillowcases that serve different functions, as well as 2 pillow inserts to adjust the height to your liking. As shown in the product photos, this pillow seems to work best for patients who will be in bed for a long time and suffer from bedsore. For casual use, such as myself, it adds nice support when I’m reading a book in bed and need that extra back support to sit up. For the price, it does seem pricey for a product that is advertised to help or prevent bed sore. In my opinion, although the pillow can help with bedsores, it’s no definitive way to prevent it as your body will still need to move and adjust every so often to prevent it; a pillow cannot solve that problem. Besides the main goal of the product and the price, it is a well-made pillow that I would recommend to others.
