How do I set the alarm?

Hi Emma, the alarm can only be set on the "OUT" probe (this is the probe on the end of the wire that goes inside the fridge or freezer). How loud is the alarm? Would I be ableto hear it in the next room?

i had it in the attic with the hatch closed and heard it downstairs on the first floor.At the time neither the television or radio were on

Does anyone use one of these for a tropical aquarium? Can it be configured so the alarm sounds if the temp drops below, say 20C & if higher than 28C?

I'm pretty certain the answer is 'yes' but I can't find a manual anywhere - including Brannan's web site (rather disapointingly).

How do I get a replacement for faulty item still under warranty?

I would think you'd have to get in touch with the seller, but Amazon customer services would be able to answer this question better than me. Good luck with getting it.
