I don’t even know how to play chess, but I HAD to buy this. It’s stunning. The marble pieces are so beautifully carved they look like tiny sculptures, and the board is just… wow. Heavy, sleek, and absolutely gorgeous.I bought this just for how it looks, and honestly, no regrets. Friends come over and ask if I play, and I just laugh because, nope—I bought it to stare at. If you want something unique and ridiculously classy, this is it. Who needs to know the rules when it looks this good?

The media could not be loaded. Had this specific set saved for a while due to the theme/color also the large heavy pieces. Was worried some would arrive cracked or chipped but not at all they were very well packaged and protected and the carry case will be very useful when i need it. The detail is phenomenal and some green pieces like the Bishops, Knights and Queen look just soo stunning as they’re cut/layered length ways which creates amazing natural designs. Also a random green pawn is similarly cut, no two pieces are the same… and the picture doesn’t do the white marble justice! Be careful they chip easily, the hard & solid marble board is soft when the pieces fall, compared to my granite coffee table which is super dense and the white bishop already chipped a large piece off the base. From what I’ve experienced already also with a green pawn is they chip off marble flakes depending on the impact, rather than crack or split like i would have thought. So it’s definitely an adult piece to keep away from children, and even at that i will be hiding it during certain occasions as even adults can sometimes be touchy and careless lol… but still it’s well worth the money, and is also an art piece/decoration for the room :) 10/10

Gave this to my son for Christmas and it is really really nice! The board is smooth and beautiful. The pieces weren’t what I expected but they are nice. They could use a little more detail and better sizing, if possible. It comes with a beautiful case in storage for all the pieces and that’s really nice too. Don’t expect it to be light weight because it is not. It’s marble and is pretty heavy. If they ever made more detailed pieces, I would definitely buy them.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. When it arrived, it was packaged so nicely within the carrying case and layers of styrofoam, each piece was individually wrapped with care, and even came with a certificate of authenticity. Honestly, it was a true investment piece and the quality is there.

Great chess set with character. Board and pieces are very solid and look great. Pieces are what mainly attracted me - handmade and high quality. The red marble and coral pairs well with medium to dark woods/stains. For those wondering, the logo that may appear in pictures on the board is just a sticker that comes off clean and easy. No residue or anything.Support is good. My set didn't come with the felt bottoms on pieces, so I followed up with their customer service. They quickly offered a link to felt bottoms, and initiated a partial refund to cover costs.

Overall the board is nice and the pieces are even nicer, but the carry case is very iffy. The latches are cheap and takes a bit of playing with the case to get them to line up and close. Overall pleased, but the price could bit a bit lower. The packaging was top notch and very well protected for shipping.
