Loved being able to find 50 yards of ribbon for a good price. I’ve made about 50 cheer bows and have plenty ribbon left. It’s your typical grosgrain ribbon.

My go to ribbon for bows

I've bought two of these. I know most people will not understand my complaint, but I'm a Lower Elementary Montessori guide, and I need a new black strip. My classroom needed a lot of things, so an expensive one was not an option, and the inexpensive versions, I haven't been able to find any of the more affordable ones in stock. So, I decided to make one from 50 yards of black ribbon, and this ribbon was thick and black. Now, I did have budget to go a little bigger with this one, so I ordered two with the plan to sew them together because I feel like this lesson works better with a wider strip. I set it aside until I could work on it over the summer. Summer finally arrives, and I start pinning my ribbon together. About 45 yards in to my pinning, I find that one of the rolls is not continuous ribbon, and now I have to decide if I can deal with a weird seam on one half of the strip or unpin and deal with the smaller strip and have 45 +5 yards of extra ribbon floating around or buy another roll and hope I get lucky with that one. So Frustrating.

Ribbon is sturdy, white and did the trick! I have half the roll left and made 30 bows already!

Arrived on time, and a perfect match for our Remembrance Day wreaths.

This roll was at least 1/4 inch narrower than the last 3 rolls i ordered from amazon in the same colour. All the #'s were the same etc.. i try to always order offray because it is more of a true 3 inch width, not this one though. Otherwise it is fine.

This hard to find 3" grosgrain is terrific. It's slightly thinner than the 2" version usually sold in stores, but that gives the flexibility to double it up as I did to make a beaded sash.
