Valves are not adequate.
This rain barrel does a great job at collecting rain and is pretty sturdy. However, the 3 valves are not very usable:1. The valve on the bottom is the only once that fits a standard size hose, and because it is on the bottom it is difficult to use because there is no pressure to propel the water through anything above the level of the valve.2. The valve at the middle of the barrel is tiny and water comes out at a trickle, even when the rain barrel is completely full. It takes 8 minutes to fill a 5 gallon bucket using this valve.3. Finally, the overflow valve on top is yet again a different size with no tapered end to fit a hose into to run it down to the gutter. Not that it matters because it is also too small; in heavy rain when the barrel is full, water just trickles out of the valve and pours over the edges of the barrel because the valve can’t keep up.

Okay
The set up was easy. The parts are as mentioned. The problem is that it says it does not tear and I have tears already by the posts. The mesh screen is almost so small that it gets blocked to easily. Also be mindful of a mesh barrel. If you want to hook up a hose and have any water pressure you will need to place it on a stand that sits high enough to let gravity do the work otherwise you get a trickle at best. It will be hard to find a stand for a product that has a flexible bottom. Also it says it does not collapse, which is has a few time on me already

Screen catches rocks and other items, too small to catch water
It was easy to put together, but doesn't fill up with water as it should. The small screen on top is too small for water to pass through, and somehow gets blocked with sand and stone. I've had for three months and can't return, and there's barely 2 inches of water in the bottom. It's rained almost every day hear in Florida for the past 6 weeks. I should have a full barrel but the hole on top is too small, and the screen gets clogged easily. I'm throwing in the trash and getting a rain barrel that works.

Works, but some issues
Works ok, but needs some updatesPros- build quality is good- can collapse down if needed- costCons- after first rain water didn’t get above the bottom valve because it shipped in the open position and as the rain went in it went out.- the middle valve is opposite the bottom valve, meaning it shipped closed and the aligned with the valve is closed where the other one is open. So after the issue with the lower valve I turned the middle valve thinking I was closing it, but no, so water was just leaking out the middle valve until I noticed it. Really?- it has a clear tube you have to install (pita) that connects to an outlet at the bottom and runs up to the top to see how much water is in it. It’s nice to have that feature, but why not just have a clear plastic window? The problem with the tube is it doesn’t go all the way to the top. So at about 47 gal the water is coming out the top of that tube, making the higher overflow kinda pointless- you really only can hold about 47 gal, not 53.- you need to put it in a permanent place before there’s water in it because there’s no way to move it after

Water container
It's pretty good for what you pay and get. Only issue I have is once the water level gets lower than the spigot you can't get any water out of it, i have to open the top to pull water out. That's if you have this on the ground and not up on anything to get to the bottom release leaver.
