What are the ingredients

Carageenan, Chlorine, and Parabens - which are all harmful to both humans & animals, eventually, over a period of time. I personally, after during research, avoid these particular ingredients. This product also contains Aloe vera, according to some reviewers, this is "toxic" to cats & dogs. I am looking into it...but even so, this product does not strike me as safe.

Why does it have a chlorine smell?

The odor is from the Oxygene ingredient (stabilized chlorine dioxide).

Was your product sealed? I just received some tubes that were not sealed.

The tubes were sealed with a clear plastic shrink wrap on the outside of the lid. There is no seal inside the lid.

BONUS: More than a toothpaste! Our pet parents love to use it on wounds, too. Just apply to the affected tissue to soothe and condition. Give it a try.

Excellent product for sensitive teeth and gums

Originally recommended to us by our vet to gently clean and sooth our three year old Westie’s very sensitive teeth and gums. Amazon is the only place we have been able to purchase this product from recently; this is such an excellent product. We also use Oxyfresh Dental water additive for fresh breath which eliminates bad breath and also soothes sensitive gums.
