Since so many lemon juices are just concentrates now, I prefer using citric acid. This works perfectly for cheesemaking and has given me some great cheeses. Additionally, if you have allergies in the house, this is perfect. I have allergies and ran into undisclosed cross-contamination using other citric acids. This is a little bit pricier, but worth it for the peace of mind if you're an allergy household.

I used this to make bath bombs and it worked phenomenally. One bag is enough to make probably 40 or so bath bombs.

Bought this to make some sour candies. The quality and size of the package seemed ok. The texture was as expected. Shipping was fast. It probably would work great for different uses. Not so much for candy

This is a great value. We have very hard water, and before using this our dishes were covered in white film and spots. Now the dishes are shiny and not gritty. I also use this to clean and deodorize my wood cutting boards. Works like a charm. Well worth the price for the amount you get and how long it lasts.

I bought this citric acid after watching some YouTube videos about cleaning the upper toilet tanks in my bathrooms. I'm in a rural area and use well water so there is no chlorine. Consequently, I get algae growth in the toilet tanks, and it is a chore to keep them clean. I don't like to use a lot of cleaning chemicals that go into the septic system that can disrupt the biological breakdown of the solid waste. I am amazed at how well and easy it works. Very little scrubbing and they have remained algae free since. I also cleaned a couple of old stainless steel insulated coffee mugs I have. The insides were stained black after years of use. I had previously tried soaking them in white vinegar with little cleaning effect. After letting them soak with citric acid inside for a couple of hours and a little scrubbing with a stainless steel scouring pad, they now look like new inside.

I love that it’s cheap and easy to use, this helped so much with removing scrud from my washer and the hard water build up in my dishwasher!
