the lock is tough but after just a few days of usage it stopped functioning normally. the keys fail to open the lock and get stuck in. i have tried lubricating it but still no difference.

It has worked fine so far after a month, looks secure and provides peace of mind

Great lock and cable. They compliment one another perfectly. They are the perfect combination for anyone serious about trying to keep their bike safe.

Lock works nicely. I have the clip on the seat tube and it fixes on simply and securely.

I've had this lock for a couple of years and whilst it has not been in daily use, I have confidence in it. It has secured my nickable prized road bike in Bristol City Centre for a whole day without sign of any problem, as well as securing family bikes on holidays in France.Reading other reviews I have been careful to keep it lubricated and am gentle with the keys. The lock comes with a large key with a light and some smaller ones which are more handy.The shackle needs to be carefully aligned with the keep when assembling the lock and it can seem fiddly at times. It seems solidly built and is covered with rubber so as not to mark the bike.Obviously the cable will be vulnerable to cutting but I think the lock is good value and provides a Sold Secure Silver level of security at a competitive price.I haven't used the frame bracket. I either sling the cable across my body and have the lock hanging from that on a shorter trip, or put the whole thing in a rucksack for a longer ride.
