What tractor goes with this fella whirl rake?

Do the plastic prongs touch the floor/ carpet when attached onto the back of a tractor and lowered?

No they hover, so the carpet farmer can shake the grass.

does it need an adapter becuase it is for the front of the tractor

It should not need an adapter. Most Siku 1:32 tractors are fitted with a front coupling as standard. If you look at this Fendt http://www.amazon.co.uk/Siku-Farmer-Scale-Fendt-Tractor/dp/B00029D0OC/ref=pd_sim_21_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=1AKDHBB359HM4AXNE6GB you will see a red triangular device at the front - this is the interlocking part of the coupling mechanism. The mower and any other front mounted items slot on to this. There is also a mechanism for lifting and lowering the the implements as they would in real life when the tractor is moving from field to field or on the road. I think Brittains 1:32 tractors are similarly equipped but I cannot guarantee this. Hope this helps. Mike.

Great detail
