OtterBox Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Commuter Series Lite Case - Black

OtterBox has been at the top of the list for quality case manufacturers for many years now. So you know the cases they offer are going to be good quality cases no matter what! I personally think my phone is a little bit on the larger side, despite me having pretty large hands for a guy. So I didn't want to bulk the overall shape of it up too much with a meaty case. So I opted for this version rather than the premium heavy duty version they offer for my phone (Samsung Galaxy A54 5G) otherwise I would have gone for the upgraded version, as I've had one in the past on an old phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2 lol) and I really liked it and the amount of protection it provided. I also really liked the belt clip holster it comes with, that was a larger phone too so sometimes it didn't like to fit into my pocket very easily with the grippy case on it. Having that holster was convenient, albeit not the most fashionable accessory for a guy in his early 20's at the time lol. I haven't bought a case for my phone in the last 4 or 5 maybe even 6 phones I've gone through. And go figure, I've dropped and broke the screens and bezels and back plates on almost if not every one of those phones. I got this phone and only got a tempered glass screen protector. No case at first. And of course I dropped it and broke the screen protector AND the back glass as well as cracked the glass over one of the camera lenses. Sigh 🙄 that's when I decided to get a case before I drop it again and really severely screw something up. I've dropped it after getting the case on it at least 3 times now. Just onto the floor, no concrete or black top this time, and the case has protected me from sustaining any further damage thankfully. For the reduced price of the light duty case, you can't go wrong. You still get great protection, slightly less than the heavy duty option, but enough to save your device from a typical drop or fall. It also feels fine in my hand. The only complaint I have, which I think is my own fault and not OtterBox's, is whenever I use my phone one handed for lengthy periods of time, I always have my pinky bent and underneath the bottom edge of my phone. Like my phone is being supported by my pinky under it. When I do it with the case on though, the edge of the cutout for the charge port rubs or somehow irritates one little spot on my pinky after awhile and I get this painful little blister in that spot for a few days. But I don't always hold my phone one handed or for long periods of time like that, and you may not do that at all. So take it for what you will. Like I said, I think it's my own problem and not the cases fault lol. Now that I've rambled on long enough, I'll just say that I would recommend ANY OtterBox cases for your device. You can't go wrong with a trusted high quality brand like theirs!

Easy to install, color is correct, its perfectly fitting size, good screen protection, dropped it accidentally on a hard concrete floor and didn't have a scratch. W otterbox

Second time purchasing....first one lasted over 2 years. Dropped many times over those two years, finally broke it. Fits perfect as it should!

It is very bulky so If you don't like that this case is not for you and for how sturdy it looks Its a little loose on the sides towards the top but its not like your phone will slip out of it. If you buy it with at a discount there is nothing better, at the regular 30$ it starts to be a little hard to justify unless you care about the name brand.

This protective case isn't bulky and gives your phone good protection. It has two layers of protection built into one. The hard plastic outer layer covers the top, bottom, back, and some of the sides. The stiff rubber inner layer absorbs sock and covers all of the phone. It also elevates the edges around your glass screen and/or secondary tempered glass screen protector, giving both more protection than I expected for this price. The side buttons are hard rubber and seem more stiff than usual. The good thing about this is it cuts down on your ringer accidentally being lowered to vibrate or butt dialing while in your pocket. If I had one negative thing to say about this product, it would be that it doesn't come with a way to close the c-port when unplugged from a charger.

This isn't my first otterbox and certainly won't be my last. I recently got a new phone and needed a case to go with my Mous Intralock stem mount. It's a solid bike mount that I use for trail riding. For the past year I've ridden all over and have 1300+ miles under my belt. I've knocked into my phone about a dozen times sending it flying. Do damage to the phone whatsoever. It's easy to use, buttons work great and the design is flawless.The Mous converter shown in the picture uses a strong 3M glue which after all the miles hasn't budged. When it comes to grip it's like the perfect balance of texture. Otterbox makes the best phone cases hands down. Customer for life.

Great case, easy to fit on my Mum's phone and should hopefully give her some basic drop protection as she is a pensioner and I want to keep her phone in working condition.

Great cover. Very tough and happy with it

Good solid case that has stood up to several falls now including on concrete. The phone is tightly held inside and only the speakers, charging port and mic are exposed. The buttons on the side are covered and the back the case comes out slightly beyond the camera so that they are also protected. Case has done its job which is the most important thing including protecting when my phone dropped on concrete yesterday, highly recommended.
