Simple, clean, and mild
It comes in a vacuum-sealed pouch inside the tin; the tea is quite nice, it's not overly dry like most teas I've had in the past. Not sure if that's good or not, but it's a nice, easy to drink tea with a mild flavour. It's not overly grassy or anything, I really do like this tea.

A quality, consistent Sencha that I'll always have in my cabinet.
Like many of the Harney and Sons teas, I'm quite happy with the Japanese Sencha. It's not my favorite Sencha in the world, but the value of it is outstanding. Brewing at 60C, it's a medium-body green tea with a little sweetness, a little umami, and a little bitterness. It's somewhat middle of the road in flavor. But, it's also hard to screw up this Sencha. Perfect for people wanting to dive into the world of Japanese green tea. As is pretty well known, get the loose tea offering, as tea sold in sachets is usually of lower quality. Where I found this tea really shined is in cold-brewing. This method usually enhances the sweetness, and stretches the tea further. I start by filling a quart Mason jar with 10 grams of tea and cold water. I then let it sit several hours, even overnight. Strain it, and boom, a perfect drink for a warm day. Then the leaves can be reused. A nice, quality, consistent Sencha that I'll always have in my cabinet.

the best!
It has a "deep green" flavor that is like kelp or dulse and makes me think of the sea. Very tasty to my palette. Much better than all the other green teas I have tried over the years.

First Time Trying Sencha
First time trying Sencha. This is a good quality product but this being the first time tasting Sencha I have to say it tastes like spinach. High chlorophyll content. Not sure itโs for me but I have no complaints on quality or value.
