Easy to install
Its easy to install, works great and is quiet. It does not really have any protection from snow or rain when running. So you have to think outside the box and figure a way to cover it up. I used a heavy duty plastic bucket > cut the bottom out and put a screen over the end so you still have the air flow. Then covered the fan and caulked all the way around the new bucket against the outside wall to make it weather proof and insect proof.

Early Report, Impressed
Have been looking for a fan to vent moist air under a manufactured home to reduce shifting on Texas Clay soil. Planned purpose is important to consider. Settled on this for the price with the idea I could add an additional fan if this turned out well if fan not powerful enough. Wanted to test before install, of course a totally overcast day.... and 3 min. after plugging into panel I had a good stream. Clouds thinned a bit, but still overcast and it took off. Full sun I could feel the stream standing 8 feet away. I installed and we'll see how things go in time. What I learned: 1) plastic, yes, but not flimsy. 2) simple on/off toggle, only about 4 inches cable from fan housing, no problem for my use. The total cable length is as advertised, 16'. 3) Quiet. 4) It ran like a charm under multiple sun conditions, even when the house shade covered the panel. Should be great once I get it on the roof. 5) Fan square face is the intake, the round is the outflow. Has a round air flapper well balanced, opens when on, closes when off. I mounted with the face inside skirting under home to draw air out. I plan to wrap the exposed round housing in galvanized pipe to keep the sun damage off, give a bit more rain shielding, buy you'd need quite a sideways storm for much water to get in. I'll update as time goes by, but very happy so far. When pic taken was overcast on the shaded side of the house. Screws you see are mods for my specific application after I added some weather stripping, don't want to unintentionally misrepresent the included parts. Jus' Sayin'.

good product
This works great, good air flow and don't have to fuss with it. Turn on and it automatically stays on as long as sun is out! Quiet, easy to install. good value.

Solid fan and good customer service.
We installed this fan in our greenhouse almost 2 years ago. We had a small issue that the seller was able to resolve very quickly. The fan makes a real difference in removing heat from the greenhouse. Mount it towards the top of a wall.

The Fan Material is Plastic
The media could not be loaded. What I dislike the most: 1. The Max CFM is is questionable. Amazon listed about 420CFM, the user manual listed abut 328 CFM and a sticker attached to the last listed 380 CFM. I don't think I'm getting the least amount of CFM listed, but it's working. What I like:1. It was easy enough to install as long as you have the tools.2. It's very quiet. It's doing what I need it to do at best.

Terrible power life around 8 min on 3 day charge
So have been charging for 3 days and when started plan after 8 minutes it died. Full sun all day and even when in operation. Super disappointed in this product. I figures if a large solar panel and low speed fan with full sun light maybe but no. Seem like it has zero battery life and or solar panel is not a real panel.

Surprise surprise surprise!
You know, you can find tons of these on Amazon. Difficult to figure out which ones are good and which ones are not. I like how this had the little shutters that opened up when the fan was running. I put this on my shed because it was getting so darn hot in there in the summer that I think it was starting to affect the things that I had in the shed. I can say without a doubt that it is really not the heat down considerably in there with this thing on. And the sun is hitting that solar panel that fan is really moving fast and the shutters are completely open. I wish I had done this years ago. I'm glad I did it. It was very easy to install by cutting a hole for the fan to go in and I just caulked around it to seal it up. I recommend!
