I initially searched for this with a requirement for something to block out the annoying blue LED lights on various electrical products within my bedroom. I like to sleep in a very dark room and with blue being one of the worst lights to have in a bedroom it was very much needed.Fortunately I found these and given the reasonable price I gave them a go. I deliberated on whether to use the black out ones but since I wanted to keep the indicator lights I chose these original strength ones.As per the attached pictures they have made a great difference and stop the projection of light into the space. Whilst retaining the indicator of the device and what it's doing/if its on etc.I've used them on multiple devices and they have worked perfectly so far. Its a tad fiddly to get them on but they stick well and you have lots to get through so there's the option to have another attempt.I was particularly impressed with the inclusion of the metallic variant for use with silver coloured laptops which was also included for free along with a special deal on any further purchases.I have recommended these to everyone at my work and even used them on some devices there.Overall very happy!

These are effectively stick-on neutral density filters, to dim lights on equipment. They're pretty expensive for what you get- a single sheet of stickers.However, they are very good quality- sturdy and easy to apply. They also appear to peel off without leaving an icky mess. This is fantastic, when you're sticking them over too-bright LEDs on expensive equipment!I bought them to tame a USB charger that lights up the bedroom at night- and the result was perfect. You can still see the status of the device, but there's no ghostly illumination next to the bed. I also grabbed a pack of silver Lightdims, since there was a discount for buying two- so that I could dim the cyclopean eye of my desktop DAC, which I am experimenting with leaving on, so that it can settle down in a nice thermally stable manner into its INL spec (R2R DACs are a bit fussy). Needless to say, the terrifying pure white point of light is now a lot calmer, too.This is an annoyingly useful product, it's just a shame that they are so pricey. If you don't want to just stick blu-tak/electrical tape on something for aesthetic reasons, they do a great job!

(See photos for comparison of before and after) I brought these after getting an alarm clock where the numbers were extremely bright (you might think that sounds weird, but a lot of other reviewers said the same, I thought they were being silly but I was so wrong, the lights were bright enough to keep me awake and I generally sleep during the day due to my schedule and they were still too bright, casting a kind of beam over me. I got these because I loved the clock, but needed it dimmer, and it worked perfectly. I was worried it would block too much light and hide the colour (as I'm very fond of the blue numbers) but nope, it's perfect now. I used a smaller dot for the light that shows whether it's AM or PM, and another few for lights on chargers such as my xbox standby light. Might use one on the very bright controller light too, they're really versatile and I'd buy again if I ever needed to!

I do really like this this product, but i am afraid i can't see a time where i won't resent having to pay this amount of money for what is essentially some black stickers. They are great at appropriately dimming the light, but no matte option and bad adhesion are things that kinda annoy me about a product that is only able to sell for this price because of its absolute monopoly on the market.Three stars may seem unfair, but I don't think a product deserves a high star rating for simply being the closest product to what i want at any price they chose to charge, which is exactly how i feel about this product.

Terrible nothing like the percentage light blocking claimed. A total waste

Let's be honest, the sticker from your apple, or if you want to be posh some black electrical tape, would accomplish the same thing. You know you don't need this, but it's brilliant! If it's for your perfect setup where aesthetics matter or a bedroom scenario then go for it and buy with confidence. These work brilliantly and adhere strongly. Takes the glare right out of an annoyingly bright LED. Apparently, you can stack them to keep cutting the brightness but I didn't find this necessary.A niche product for a niche first world problem, quite expensive but I'm very pleased with the results.

I have been looking for something like this for ages and stumbled on these by accident. These are great. You know those annoying flashing and/or bright LEDs on everything these days? Well these solve that problem. Almost all lights, time panels on DVD players, modem lights etc. All can be covered by these. There are loads of various sizes included in the pack. They cover the lights but only reduce the light output. So you can still see them but not be annoyed by them, especially in the bedroom. The only downer is I wish there were a couple of bigger ones in the pack. They stick really easily but also can be pealed off if need be. No residue is left either so no worries about that
