Does it hold urine or will it flow onto the floor?

It holds urine pretty well, although I wish it didn't have notches in the sides. I put the litter box front on the mat and put a paper towel on the mat, and urine doesn't run off it. Not ideal, but it works reasonably well. Hope this helps!
