Modkat® Katch Litter Mat for Cats -Traps Litter and Mess, Non-Slip, Easy to Clean, Soft Material, Waterproof, Grey

This is the second litter mat I’ve purchased from ModKat, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. In the past, I tried cheaper alternatives, but they were disappointing—too lightweight and ineffective at containing litter. A friend recommended this brand to me, and although it’s more expensive, I believe it’s worth every penny. It excels at trapping litter and is incredibly easy to clean. With two litter boxes in my home, this mat has truly been a game-changer. Highly recommended! By the way, I would also say their litter box is excellent.

Thrilled with my Modkat litter mat! It's cute, modern, looks really nice, doesn't take up a lot of room (perfect for nice flooring you prefer to look at as opposed to your litter mat...), well built, strong, soft and rubbery on the paws, and most of all - it really works!!! It truly catches 95% of the litter (which in our case is World's Best) and leaves our floors not having to be swept all the time! I just ordered a couple more for the other Modkat litter boxes I now have. Cat and human approved!

This is a nice accessory to the Modko modern style litter box. I don't know that it's worth the price, but it's aesthetically pleasing, and keeps the modern look consistant. It cleans easily under running water, and does catch and loosen litter from my cats paws due to the rubbery slightly textured surface. I gave it 4 stars for 'design and function', but took away the fifth star due to the price.

This does not take up a lot of room and gets the job done by getting most of the litter. I had to love it a few inches in front of the litter box so there is a gap between the box and the mat. This allows the cats first step to land On the mat near the edge instead of almost in the middle which makes a difference since it is a small mat. It’s easy to wipe clean and fold to dump the litter back in the box. I liked it so bought a second one for the other litter box.

This is great mat. I had to replace a previous mat as my cat was using the mat instead of the litter box. A previous bout of bladder crystals developed into a habit of using anything soft underfoot as his box. Unfortunately, he did the same thing with this mat. No, he doesn't have crystals, he has a bad habit. Now there is no mat, litter on the floor, and no urinating outside the box. Great product, I'm sad I can no longer use it.

As described

These really work will to catch the litter on their paws. You can fold the mat and pour it back into the litter box. They are easy to clean. The only con is I wish they were a few inches longer, but I still recommend them.

I was hoping it would keep the litter in the tray since it has a little raised lip on the edge. That has not been the case. I think because the mat is rubber it attracts the litter some, but it rolls around earier as it is basically smooth. My cats sweep the litter bits off the mat because they usually like to run out of the litter box. I like that the litter can be dumped into the box easily, but I still usually vacuum because of the extra mess. I need to use two mats when use these mats so they have potential, but need improvement.
