Grips fit nice on rock island armory 1911 A1

Fits great, super comfortable and easy to install. It needed a little trim with a razor blade but that doesnt matter considering the price is low. Great product

Great item if you just want a quick upgrade. Might need a little trim based on your grips. Otherwise great item took to the range and makes it more comfortable for sure.

These are not as thick as the branded ones, such as those from Pearce. Quality-wise, they are still good rubbers and offer decent grip and ergonomics. Afterall, the idea of having finger grooves on the front of the pistol grip is fading over the years, but this is still a decent aesthetic mod for some folks including me. Upon installation, you will realize that you have to stretch it just a bit to snap over the raised part on the pistol frame. I personally do prefer this stretch coz it helps keep a tight fitment against the grip.

I was able to use this item with the original walnut grips to give my 1911 that classic look with a better feel.

These are just ok. The screw holes lined up properly. The finger groves are molded in the right place. I wish the rubber was a little tackier. My biggest issue was that there was overhang from underneath the industry standard sized grips I have and also my magazine would not seat properly. I had to take a pair of scissors and trim it down so it looked nice and there was no magazine interference. Honestly though, for the price I wasn't expecting much and these will work fine for my needs now that they are trimmed to fit. If I was going to do it again I would probably just buy an overmolded Hogue grip. They don't look as cool as having classic 1911 panel grips but they are designed to perfection.

Very inexpensive but a good product. Took no time at all to install.
