The second studio album, also produced by Joe Boyd; by 1970 Nick was stretching out with ambitious arrangements and famous guest musicians. Released on Island Records to an initially indifferent audience. Review: Item in good condition. - Excellent album to complete my Nick drake collection. Review: Good gift idea - Brought for boyfriend for his birthday! He loved - recommend 💖

loved the album as I do all his work
Yes, loved the album as I do all his work, but have since found other more reliable sites than Amazon in Manchester, Liverpool and London, which are far, far cheaper. Its about time Amazon had a radical think to their pricing policy as they are not the only market where you can now buy decent vinyl at reasonable prices, hell, even HMV are cheaper than you now. Beautiful nick drake!
Nick drake’s death was a tragedy but this album pays great respect to a musician who was special - down to the inner sleeve which is a replica of the island records inner sleeve- i kept looking and re-looking at it trying to work it out and realised its a modern sleeve but with a copy of the original super imposed on to it. ThK you for this. Wish nick had made it. Bless him.

I hate the strings but still love this album
I love Nick Drake and the songs here are brilliant. There are some inspired choices of guest musicians, Chris McGregor on Poor Boy transforms a really good song into an excellent song, for example. My only reservation about it is the string arrangements on some tracks. With such an introspective and fragile persona as Nick Drake I feel that less is more; it should sound intimate and the strings cut across that in an unhelpful way. Having said that I would still score this album way above most of his, more successful, contemporaries. Although I love this album I do really resent the unnecessary strings. It is a testament to the power of Nick Drake that I still love this album

Es el segundo disco de Nick Drake(1970), tiene una gran belleza, desde su edición, se escucha muy bien, y es un viaje melódico lleno de poesía y nostalgia.

Great mastering and the packaging is awesome- dye cut cover with course tecture. More importantly, this is my fav Nick Drake album- great artist who was around for a short time. He produced some great memorable music in his unique style. Sufyan Stephens reminds me of Nick Drake.
