I am a naturally fair upstate New Yorker, who will naturally tan *a bit* in the summer, after a handful of (unhealthy) exposures. I was looking for just enough color to be able to wear skirts and longer short shorts, as I am over 50. I see many have said that this product can be a bit tricky to apply, but I couldn’t disagree more. I put it on after showering with exfoliating gloves and use BROAD sweeping motions. Pictured is three applications over the course of a week +, done every third day. I followed the directions and ended up using about 8 to 10 drops per pump of lotion. It seems a bit greasy when mixing the lotion and the drops, but you just need to blend it well and rub it in sufficiently. It doesn’t appear orange to me, but like I said, I do have the ability to tan up naturally. I am not sure how this would work on an extremely fair person. I think the secret is to start out with fewer drops. I also tested a patch on my belly before even attempting my legs. The shade I selected was medium. You can apply clothes directly afterward. There is no wild chemical smell… Just kind of a subtly fruity/earthy smell ithat completely dissipates within 15 minutes. If you use a scented lotion, you probably wouldn’t smell it at all.Sorry for what I see now is a mini dissertation, but I hope it helps us Gen Xers, just trying to get by!

I do think this is a good product. I think the instructions on it are off though. It says the color should be fully done around 2 hours or so, but I think it continues to darken over 8 hours maybe. So I ended up too dark because I had waited around 4 hrs and added a second layer. I had seen minimal color and I was pale as heck. That second layer definitely took me to a new level. It wasn’t bad. No yellowing. It just had a ridiculous contrast to areas I didn’t do a second pass on. I would be again because of their quality product and no harmful chemicals. I just think the instructions could be better.

I'm delighted with the results! What I love the most is that I can control the shade — I just mix a few drops with my moisturizer, and the tan develops gradually without any streaks or patches.I mix, apply, and that’s it. I use it on both my face and body. The texture is lightweight and leaves no residue.It has a very soft scent, nothing unpleasant like other self-tanners.I totally recommend it if you're looking for a healthy, natural-looking tan without sun exposure.I’ll definitely be buying it again!

I've tried all the self tanner foams and lotions. I heard a friend talking about this one and the clean ingredients, so I decided to give it a go. Especially on my legs, because my upper body is way more tan. I added it to my homemade body butter, just a few drops in my hands and mix it together with the body butter, and it's ready to go. I save my knees and feet for last using much less product on them. I haven't experienced any streaking or splotchy patches at all. I use the body version on my face once a week and whoa it makes my face glow and my eyes pop with color. Highly recommend this product. Oh yes, no mess, wash your hands when your done and no gross staining.

I will say these are very good at tanning you within about 5 hours . I put it on before bed and in the morning I have a beautiful tan . They do not have a strong smell either like most tanners . The only con I have is when the tan fades it’s kinda does it in patches and turns a little orange on the skin . Make sure you dilute the drops with your favorite moisturizer. The tan is beautiful. I also have extremely sensitive skin and this does not bother me and it does not break my face out with pimples. It’s worth the buy .

These drops work pretty well. My complaints are that after a few hours my skin starts to smell weird, like it's burned. The foam doesn't give off that smell. The color overall is nice, except, there is a orange tinge that is noticeable. I feel that the orange starts to fade away after the first or second day. Since this needs to be mixed with a lotion, the combo takes a while to dry on the skin (hours). Because of this I do get streaky areas on my body, since i can't stand around naked for hours waiting for it to completely dry. I recently tried the foam and it dried way faster. I haven't tried their tanning lotion yet. I love that the ingredients are safer than most sunless tanners though. Overall, I do like this product and will continue to use it.
