adidas Men's Terrex Ax4 Gore-tex Hiking Sneaker

I needed a waterproof shoe for work. I work in the rain and walk a lot for my job. I used to wear boots but I've been trying out various brands of goretex sneakers over the last few years. I've tried a few different Nikes and they always lost their waterproofing within a couple months. I had luck with Salomon trail shoes but they're way too expensive for a pair of sneakers that will inevitably wear out within a year.I was originally just going to stick with Salomon, but then I noticed these on sale for under fifty dollars. I've never been a huge fan of adidas but for the price I figured it was worth a shot.Initially these shoes are extremely stiff. It takes a week or two of dedication to break them in, like a pair of boots almost. Once they break in though they're as comfortable as any sneakers and are extremely grippy. Almost too grippy. They definitely take some getting used to. However, the goretex lining in these is the highest quality I've ever seen in a sneaker. I wore the soles through before the shoes lost their waterproofing. It really blows me away that a pair of adidas can actually be that durable. I've gotten a full year of use out of these which is a lot for the amount I walk.

Wearing them daily for a month long and they still look new even having worn them in a dusty shop and on daily 5 mile walks so they are durable. Decent arch support that i needed and grippy to all surfaces i walk on. Slip right on and leave just enough room for heavier socks for me.

These are not gore-tex shoes. They are very comfortable and went on a hike to test out some features. I can easily walk over small rocks and don't feel a thing. The continental rubber thread is amazing. Never lost confidence while climbing or descending steep trails. The front toe section is very rugged and looks like it could take a beating. I compared them side by side to my 2 year old Altra Lone Peak 6 which were very comfortable at first but now are wore down to the bone. Although the ad was misleading in saying these are Gore-Tex, these Terrex shoes look like they are built to last but only time will tell. So far I am a happy Hiker!!

I love the quality of these shows. They are anti slippery and waterproof. Exactly what I need for my job. Build quality is good and materials are nice to touch. However Adidas does not have a standart sizing between their models. Previous terrex r2 were 9.5 and they were tolerably tight, so I keep them. When I bought these I kept that in mind and bought size 10 and they are loose! I'm gonna keep it as well, but that's little frustrating. Overall good shoes.

Great show that looks good too. Very supportive also! I’m a size 14 & they fit true to size. They look so good I want to order a second pair.. one for hiking & one for everyday use. The adidas stripes glow in the dark too. Would recommend definitely

Looked great and the build quality appeared to be on-point, but the "wide" fit wasn't wide at all. If you're in need of a roomy toe box, these aren't the right fit for you. Unfortunate, because the style and quality looked like exactly what I wanted.

I’ve loved how Adidas has incorporated Continental rubber to their soles, and Gore-Tex to the rest of the shoe for a few years, but as soon as I slipped these on, they felt like a perfectly tailored glove. Excellent traction, great fit and flexibility. I’m ridiculously hard on my footwear; from shoes at the office to my motocross boots, and I was honestly so immediately impressed that I ordered another pair in a different color after taking a couple hot laps around my property. Shout out to RUN-D.M.C. for getting me hooked on this brand while I grew up breakdancing!

Took me almost two weeks to break in and it was a pain, and size runs a little too big, I normally wear 12.5's however this show seemed a little too big for me, still going to rock them until they are destroyed but only gripes are runs a tad too big, and takes a minute to break in.

Se perciben de muy buena calidad, son Adidas Terrex originales. Llegaron en caja de Amazon, no de Adidas y llegaron justo el día que prometieron. Después de usarlos todo el día y haber caminado más de 5km, puedo decir que son bastante cómodos. Yo los compré para uso casi diario en la ciudad de México y estuve muy a gusto con ellos.Los recomiendo, creo que el precio es justo por lo que obtienes.

Least comfortable shoes I've ever worn. After owning them for less than a month they went in the bin.
