Comfortable and Versatile Drafting Chair for Long Hours
I’m really impressed with this chair! This chair has completely changed my workspace, and it’s perfect for anyone who spends long hours at a desk. The high back provides excellent support for my back and shoulders, and the ergonomic design really helps relieve any tension. I love the lumbar support, which keeps me comfortable and helps maintain good posture throughout the day. One of the standout features is the flip-up armrests. They’re super convenient when I need to get closer to my desk or just want more freedom of movement. The armrests are also padded, so they’re comfortable when I’m typing or resting my arms. The adjustable footrest ring is another great feature. It’s a big plus, especially when I’m standing or need to adjust my feet position. It’s sturdy, and I can easily adjust it to my ideal height for added comfort. The chair itself is very sturdy and feels solid, with a weight capacity of 400lbs, which adds to the feeling of durability and quality. The chair is designed for comfort, and it really shows. It’s fully adjustable, so I can raise or lower the seat height easily to fit my desk setup. Whether I’m sitting at a standard desk or using a taller standing desk, this chair can accommodate both with ease. The smooth-rolling casters allow me to move around without any issues, and it’s easy to adjust to the perfect position for working or taking breaks. In terms of functionality, this chair excels in a variety of ways. It’s designed to work well for both sitting and standing desk setups, making it versatile enough for any workspace. The high-back design helps support my posture during long hours, and the footrest ring provides comfort when I need to rest my feet. I also appreciate that the flip-up armrests make it easy to move closer to the desk or even store the chair out of the way when it’s not in use. Another bonus is how quiet the chair is when it moves. The casters roll smoothly and silently, so I can move around my space without disturbing others. This makes it ideal for a shared workspace or if you need to be mindful of noise levels in a home office. As for assembly, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to put together. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included in the package. I was able to assemble the chair in under 30 minutes, and I didn’t need any extra help. Everything fit together well, and the chair felt sturdy right away. For the price, this chair offers excellent value. It’s a comfortable, versatile, and durable option that has improved my workday significantly. If you’re looking for a chair that provides comfort, functionality, ease of assembly, and quiet performance for long hours of sitting or standing, I highly recommend this drafting chair! It’s been a great addition to my office.

100% Buy it
I’m so grateful about this chair, where do I begin? I work from home sometimes 12 hours a day and this is my 4th chair. I will do my best to give this the glory it deserves. I was looking for a high back chair, not leather. My last upgrade that was cloth had a smell and I do not like how leather sticks to your legs. This has a beautiful breathable fabric. The chair looks nice & rich. I love that it’s for “400 pounds” I’m 5’5 about 135 but I love to sit Indian style for the wide base easily fits my legs and the arm rests are perfectly short enough not to stop that process. Speaking of leather, I had a very hard time deciding if I wanted to be wrapped up in soft fluffy cloud like leather or go ergonomic. Our health is our lives go with ergo. I ended up getting mousepads special mouse and I feel so much better and happier. Like I’m so pleased every time I sit in this chair with this purchase. I did get a smashing deal of $169 and I’d pay $200 if I had too. Being that I’m on the lighter side the ease of pushing back is normal for weight comparison, I’d prefer for it to feel like the chair will fall backwards when I lean back but my 190 pound husband it seemed to rock very well. This may be my error in not loosening it enough However with that being said, the foot ring helps stabilize my feet to give me the rock that I need. Lately I have been getting bad bruising on my elbows and I have figured out that it was from leaning my elbows on my old armrests. These armrests are top notch soft memory foam. The arm rests do go up and down with ease. My plan is to use it with a standup desk but even right now it’s OK with my standard desk. I put it together in about an hour or so it was easy and they even had extra pieces

Definitely worth it!!
This is the first drafting chair Ive ever owned. We counted and I own 4 other office chairs that are ok so believe me when I say this chair is amazing. I looked and looked and looked at chairs before getting this one. I even purchased another one and ended up sending it back. There were a ton of helpful reviews that led me to finally pull the trigger and get this one. I am a smaller woman so I was concerned that it could be another Big and Tall chair, which dont work for me, but so far this chair has out done any chair I have. I also needed one for new standing desk. Pros: Easy assembly Great bottom cushion, contoured Back support good Head rest Adjustable foot rings Breathable mesh back Good height Tilt Arm rests lift up and down Looks nice in my office Cons: Bottom cushion material a little scratchy (personal preference) Head rest a little tall for me (once again, simply because Im shorter) This was definitely worth looking and looking for. I would highly recommend this drafting chair.

Comfy tall Chair
This chair is exactly what I was looking for. As a 260-pound guy with wide hips, it’s very comfortable, and the seat cushion provides great support. The only thing I changed was the wheels, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, I highly recommend this chair.

A excellent chair overall but an add-on may be needed
I am baffled by the design of this chair. Look carefully at the pictures there are 2 things you will notice 1/ the base part of the chair curves downwards that sends your lumbar way down 2/ The base and the top parts of the chair do not meet leaving some sort of valley space. This valley coupled with (1) means your lumbar is not on a level surface but curved down sliding into that valley. The result of 1 and 2 above is that I got up each time and my lumbar was in acute pain. Never had any lumbar pain, my other draft chair and all the other office chairs in my house do not give me any pain whatsoever. But the chair is so comfortable and really grips the lower back to give an upright posture, so I say lets see if we can make this work. I buy a lumbar support cushion, x-large. Same result, getting up from the chair was a dread. How could this design be so bad? I am 6ft and just over 200pounds, Perhaps its made for a lighter weight person? But the ad says it supports up to 400 pounds. No, the design is just bad. A shame because its really comfortable and fits a tall person like me, I will avoid any chair that fits any of those two design items mentioned above. Updated****10/15/2025 Arguably the best chair I have had. I used another chair and it also had the lumbar pain issue because it sinks deeply at the bottom of the chair but not as deeply as Boliss. I bought this from Amazon--Cushion Lab Patented Pressure Relief Seat Cushion -- that solved the lumbar problem but since that chair was not so deep, I ended up sitting on half the seat. I went back to get Boliss and my cushion seat solved the lumbar problem. And I am seating in most of chair. I am quite pleased with this chair, the arms are low enough that I can rest my arms on the armrest and do my work, the other chair the arms were too high for my keyboard location so had to raise the arms most of the time. The headrest of Boliss is also very comfortable and grips your head,

Super comfortable, works great with standing desk
Super sturdy and very comfortable. I am 6'3" 240lbs and this chair is excellent. I have had it now for a few months and it does not squeak, is not loosening, and is super comfortable. It raises high enough for me to use it with my standing desk. The shape of the cushion is awesome and has not started to show any signs of wearing.

Tall people will love this chair... Super comfortable!
I'm really impressed with this chair. As a tall man (6ft. 6in.) I rarely encounter a chair that I can adjust to an optimal height. So, imagine my surprise when after assembling and sitting in this chair I realized that the fully lowered height of this chair allowed a near perfect ergonomic position with my upper thighs parallel to the floor. I'm glad I bought two... one for my semi-giant son, and one for me. I'm also very pleased with the well-padded seat and lumbar support. This is a super comfortable chair.

Finally—A chair that actually fits if you’re 6’2”+
I’m 6’2” and I rarely ever write reviews, but I had to for this Boliss drafting chair. I’ve put about 16 hours into it over the last two days and I’m honestly blown away. If you’re tall, you know the struggle: standard office and task chairs (even the expensive ones) max out at 21 inches. At our height, that is a recipe for knee and back pain because your hips are always too low. This chair starts at 24 inches, which changed everything for me. My knees feel amazing, and for the first time, my neck and shoulder strain are completely gone because I’m finally sitting at the right height for my monitors. A few quick points from my experience so far: -The Height: It’s the "secret sauce." Being able to sit higher than 21 inches is a game changer for leg comfort. -The Foot Ring: I saw some negative reviews about the ring, but at 6’2”, it’s perfect. I keep it on the lowest setting and it’s exactly where I need it to be. -Quality & Setup: This isn't a cheap, flimsy chair. The build quality is solid all around and the installation was surprisingly easy—no headache at all. -The Perfect "Cockpit": If you have a standing desk, this is the ideal companion. I’ve paired mine with a separate footrest and a Cushion Lab seat pad, and I’ve basically built the perfect ergonomic setup for way less than those "high-end" brands. If you’re tall and tired of feeling "crunched" in standard office chairs, just get this. It’s worth every penny to finally sit without pain.

Sturdy and comfy
I really love the height range, as most other computer chairs can't go as high as this one, so I needed to match the height of my computer table and this was perfect

Comfortable, but it could stand to be taller.
I bought this to replace a less comfortable drafting chair, and while the plush seat is nice, for my personal ergonomics, the seat could easily stand to be 4"-5" higher from the ground, as once one sinks into that plush seat and is now sitting too low for the desk vs. a standing position. A drafting chair with a proper range should allow one to leave their monitor and desk at a fixed height, with the chair meeting up with that. This fails to do that for me, but should be fine for shorter people. If you're under 6 feet tall, this is probably great, but otherwise, it's well made but not ideal.

the hydraulic piston hardly works....
put it together reasonably quick and easily.... i was surprised and disappointed to immediately notice the chair did not lift to its full height without my help.... once at the top position i sat on the chair and the seat settled to 5" or 6" lower!!!! I weigh 175lbs... chair is advertised for far more than that. now i have to try to return this .... wasted time and disappointed.
