This healed my skin. I went through a phase of piling on product after product and ended up damaging my skin so badly. I decided to go back to basics and gently wash my face/neck, use a gentle sunscreen during the day and moisturize at night. Every night I started rubbing this stick on my face and neck. Within 3 days I felt a difference- my skin felt softer. After about 10days, my dry skin was mostly gone and my skin felt so smooth and looked healthier. I am prone to adult acne (thanks Mom!) and this hasn't bothered it in the least -if anything, my skin looks better than it has in a long time. It smelled delicious and isn't too thick. Once you apply it, give it a few minutes to settle into your skin. I also love that it's one ingredient -cocoa butter. No fillers or synthetics. Do yourself a favor - try this out. I love this cocoa butter, stick, and brand from back in the day early 90s, so I’m very familiar with the formula and what it does to my skin. It has always lightened up. My dark marks, kept my skin very moisturize and looking great. This pack is very hard when I receive my package. I was unable to push the sticks to the top so I used hot water to warm it up and soften it so that I could use it and then it was OK

Ok -- like don't take it's first impression at face value, nor listen to the reviewers who complain it's dry & crumbly without testing it yourself. It will most definitely surprise you! I'll admit, when it first arrived, I was super unimpressed. I had never heard of the brand, but I liked the idea of it being in a stick that you could use to glide it on instead of the lotion form that I was used to. But when it got here, after managing to pry open the cap -- which honestly is no easy feat -- I was downright disappointed. It was an oddly dry stick that did not fully fill the tube & had a weird scent that I could not place. It wasn't what I'd call chalky looking, but it had no look of moisture to it. It doesn't cling to the sides, & I too envisioned it crumbling with pressure. Like a brick of parmesan. So I ignored it. For a while. I don't know what prompted me to take it out, but I gave it a go & haven't looked back. Like, I had to swipe it across my arm a few times to get it warmed up, but that is the key. It's almost like an actual stick of butter in that way. The heat from your skin warms it up, & then it just glides on. You don't even need to do it that much -- too much & you'll feel like you DID put butter on. It becomes very smooth & rich & moisturizing; rub it too long & you've got a glossy buttery sheen. The smell? Amazing! It literally smells like chocolate. For some reason that scent doesn't seem to appear until warm on the skin, but it's awesome. Strong, lasting & reminds me exactly of a hershey kiss. The tube construction is a bit weird since it's just loose in there. If you tip it over, yes, it WILL fall out... but it's not a big deal. Not as if it’s difficult to not tip it over. Those complaining just need something to whine about. It IS more challenging when u get to the end of the stick; it just pops out. But then I just used my hand & then popped it back in when I was done. And also -- I don't get the complaint about the stick in general. Like, does no one eat push-pops anymore? The stick DOES come out; you just need to push up at the bottom to get it up -- the bottom moves. It's like a push-pop. Def try before giving up on this product. It's great!!

Glad to find this CoCocare product online. It is more and more difficult to find 100% cocoa butter in stores. It is reasonable priced for the two sticks. My wife and I both are using.

Love the cocoa butter I ordered three total and this winter weather, you’ve got to have it.

I find that this product is hard to get. I love it and especially because it says its 100%.

Lovely cocoa butter with a rich, deep scent that lingers, and my skin feels soft and nourished after use. The container pushes up (underneath) and when cold, the butter is solid and doesn’t touch the sides of the container so that allows the butter to be removed and used without the outer cylinder (the butter sits in a base you can hold, like a lipstick), or to be used inside the cylinder (by pushing the butter base up, to whatever level you need). When the product is cold, you will need to support the butter base (underneath, inside the cylinder) or the butter will fall back down inside the holder, but perhaps in warmer conditions, when the butter softens up and becomes slightly ‘sticky’, it might touch against the inside of the holder, and help the butter stay in place when pushed up from the bottom? Meanwhile, since conditions here are still cold, I just hold the outside cylinder between my first and middle fingers and push up and hold (underneath) with my thumb. Simple! Before buying this product, I did read some reviews with comments on the container but, on reflection, I realised it must be really tricky to design a holder that allows for changes in product consistency. Cocoa butter naturally changes, according to temperature conditions (i.e.; it isn’t consistently sticky, like glue or lip salve and it isn’t consistently hard and solid either). Nightmare! Bottom line: Lovely product. Amazing smell! Yes, I would like to have the option to buy it in ‘pieces’, in an eco-friendly ‘envelope’ (so I could transfer the butter bits into a pot), but that’s just personal preference and doesn't fit with Cococare’s ‘The Yellow Stick’ product identity. (NB: Recycling mark: LDPE 4 -stamped on the base).
