I am pleasantly surprised, I can be a skeptic on some of the lower cost items compared to name brand, I do find myself trying more and more of the lower cost items. This pump works great, we used it most to blow up a three person sit down tube, It takes not time at all. I was shocked how quick the first time. We found ourselves bringing the tube from home to our cottage and back multiple times this summer, kids love the big one compared to the others. So I found myself inflating and deflating it often. I have to say using it as a deflator has been a huge convenience, it makes folding the tube so much easier. I will mention I have another older inflator, this one runs up to a slightly higher pressure and it makes a big difference to fully inflate the tube. The size is great because I throw it in the container with the folded tube to transport. I would highly recommend for inflatables. Be aware of the higher pressure rating when inflating pool inflatables.

This thing is the best. I got it to quickly blow up an inflatable pool for my kids. It’s powerful and blows up the pool in a few short minutes (it’s a large pool with 3 sections to fill with air). If I had to complain about anything is how short the cord is. I wish it was longer, but it still works for me. You could always use an extension cord if you needed to. The other neat thing about it is it can deflate something too! Works great and it was so inexpensive. Recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nice little pump, but it heats up fast

My previous air mattress pump broke and you know how crazy it is to try to air one up without a pump. Or to deflate one for that matter. But after reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and give this one a try. The inflation rate is very quick and it is easy to use. The cord length is fine and the noise level is not bad at all. It seems real solid and I think it will last.

Works great, use it with my wood burning stove to blow on ambers when putting more wood in.

It’s been a good little air pump. A lot of attachments for different size air ports. Easy to put air in and take it out.

3 stars, the pump itself moves a ton of air, but the air tips it comes with are a too big for most of the pool tubes I was trying to fill. The pump also seems to get very hot when in use, but it kept working.

I have a self-inflating sleeping pad. When the valve is open on the sleeping pad, the foam expands and draws air in. A few more breaths and the pad is comfortable. When I camp, I sleep in the back of my SUV. When it is time to put away the bedding for the day, I generally just fold up the sleeping pad, because it is difficult to rollup and squeeze the air out to get it back into its bag. I wanted a pump to suck the air out of the sleeping pad, to make it quick and easy to store. I also wanted a pump to suck the air our of space bags when I travel, so I can make my clothing take up less space. I first bought another brand/model of pump. The other model worked on 12v cigarette lighter socket and with 120v AC; I liked the dual power options. That pump arrived and I tested it. The only way I could get it to suck down the sleeping pad was to rollup the pad and sit on it while the pump was running, barely better than no pump at all. Certainly not strong enough for my needs. I didn't even test it on the space bags. I sent the unit back. I looked in the specs and found the other model of pump said 0.6 PSI ... so I looked to see what was available in similar models with more power. I found several at 1.2 PSI, and then this unit at 1.6 PSI. I bought this unit as it was the most powerful. Tonight, my first night owning it, I sucked down the sleeping pad smaller than I have ever seen it. I also put a large winter jacket in a space bag and sucked it down, as small as I have ever seen with my upright vacuum cleaner. This pump seems well made, easy to hold with the handle, and very powerful. I wish it also had a 12v cord, but I have a small inverter for my laptop that I can probably use when camping in my car. I am very pleased with this purchase, I recommend this unit over the competition.

Gets way too hot. Can’t touch it while filling.
