I have a long beard. I have used a round brush to help straighten it, which worked ok, but not the greatest. I then bought an expensive, stiff boars brush for beards. I now ony use that to spread oil through, as it doesn't go through my beard that well. So I decided to buy this. This is great for brushing though whilst drying with a hair dryer. If you have a long beard buy it.

I have owned several of these brushes. They are fabulous for short hair, but they only last about 2 years before the tips of the teeth start to break off. But they are amazing brushes for short hair. The best brush I have ever used, which is why I keep buying them. However, they are NOT designed for medium or long hair.
