I was able to install this in my Threadripper 3970 system in a PCIe x16 Slot with x4x4x4x4 bifurcation enabled, and setup 4x U.2 NVMe SSDs that perform with full PCIe 4.0 x4 bandwidth. I used the cablecc OcuLink to 2x U.2 adapters, and it works great!
