Great sequel to the first one
My daughter has read all of the David Walliam books. She finds them really entertaining. She has been reading them since she was 7 or 8 and still asks for anything new that comes out at 14! He’s full of great stories that really engage children no matter what their age, which is great - anything to keep them reading. The book is well made and will be passed down to her little brothers in the coming years. I’m sure they will get just as much joy out of his books as she did. Definitely worth the money

Brilliant as always Walliams!
I always loved the reactions on my kids faces when they unwrapped a David Walliam’s book. Personally, I think that the same format is repeated in all of the worlds worst books bu5 just told from another perspective. However, the kids LOVE it: definitely good for younger readers (maybe years 3 and 4) and the illustrations could use some work. Aside, coronavirus that, a masterpiece:D

This book should be banned.
Sure, this 288 page book is very nicely presented. It is colourful and attractively decorated while it comes in a hard over. It’s also quite well written. In theory it make a nice gift. And i’m sure many children will be attracted to it and appreciate it as reading material. But think about it. The author is making money on the back of the poor children depicted in this book!! And I actually know some of them. They obviously have issues. Yet these children are not inherently bad or worse than others. They are often scared, fragile, maybe traumatised. For example take Harry, “who never ever did his homework”. I know for a fact that, he actually couldn’t pay attention to his homework because his parents insisted him to play video games all day in order to beef up their online gamer profile. Quite tragic really. So with each of these children there is a reason for their behaviour. Yet the authors provide a one dimensional portal of their symptoms without doing proper background checks or cross referencing with witnesses and family. I’m sure each of them could have grown up to be very normal and worthy member of society where it not for them being ridiculed in such a popular book! It must be devastating for these children given their age. I hope the author will reflect on this and that for his next instalment of his money spinning series he will take a more measured but also more positive, constructive approach in order to provide some encouraging examples. Why can’t he write about; ‘The World’s Sweetest Children”, “The World’s Most Inspiring Teachers” or “The World’s Most Excellent Parents” ? - for the latter I’m happy to provide him with some material to prove that I do qualify.

David Walliams book.
My granddaughter has already got The World's Worse Children book 1. So when I asked her which book she would like, she said could she have the Book number 2. It came on time and I am sure my Granddaughter will enjoy reading it like the previous one.

As a book reader, this was good quality and had glossy and nice pages not like the pages which are recycled

The world's worst children 2 is an excellent sequel to the previous "world's worst children". Just as fascinating and interesting, only there are more miserable deaths...
