Works very well. It's not noisy. Looks modern. No more flies buzzing annoyingly around the lounge.

We have had our unit 3 months and it just stopped working! However, both bulbs had blown, putting in the spares it was back in action. Checking what to do and i see the specs for bulb life is 2,500hr which as ours has been on 24/7 is to be expected. It is a fact that 'special' spectrum fluorescents have relatively short lives and affordable LED just do not cut the mustard a these wavelengths.So that said our unit has done a fantastic job at a similar price as fly spray over that time. We have cluster flies in our old house which become zombie flies in the winter. Flying in your food, your tea, your face, into your monitor and then dying on your desk and all the window sills. This unit placed high in the landing/loft area has made a 90% reduction in annoying flies with most of them ending up in the fly tray which in peak time was overflowing once a week. Only downside is the zapping noise as they meet their maker and a baking smell from the fatter ones - our loft area is now the flies "The Green Mile" - haha!

There is no noise while it’s running, but my goodness those flies go with a cracking zap! Made me and the dogs jump the first few times.Sturdy build, sleek design, easy to use, great value for money. Kills flies

Was hoping for a better capture rate for the house fly problem we are having, when it does catch a fly it burns it for a long time filling the house with a burning odour, I will be keeping for now though to see how it goes

I had the pest control in for rats & mice a month ago... They poisoned them so obviously I have dead ones in the loft space and/or walls of my house. This has led to an Infestation of flies. I bought this and can say I'm impressed it works. A lot of flies are drawn to it, some aren't or just take a long time to get there but nothing is perfect.This is the tray after only 48hours of use. Admittedly, I've hand killed just as many as this has zapped but it's halving the work load!Cons - it's not quiet, you can hear the zapp... Good in my opinion though, shows its strong.Also another downside is the smell of flies being fried. Kinda smells like singed/burnt hair which isn't pleasant but liveable knowing the job its doing.Definitely worth buying, I'm thinking of buying another!

Yes this model is very effective and quieter at zapping the pesky bugs we’re getting with this wonderful hot weather.I would have preferred an extra few cm on the cable but I guess 1.5mtr is the norm now.I particularly like the tray that you easily clean out each day.

Disappointing 😔Low sound yesKills mosquitoes- yes - but mosquitoes are rarely a problem in Ireland!BUT.. DOES NOT kill house flies, which is what I bought it for!! Zaps them and stuns them but tbey keep reviving only to get re-zapped and on it goes 😢

Ok so at first my family wasn't keen on something this sized in our kitchen zapping flies....but after trying one of those trending little plug-in lights with sticky sheets, that costs practically the same amount, for 36 hours and only catching 4 fruit flies they agreed to give impulse buy #1694 of mine a chance. I swear to you the absolute second my finger lifted off of that switch for the first time I heard a zap and already had unalived more flies than that trendy plug-in did the previous day and a half. It was comical at first, probably just luck right? WRONG! every day since purchasing this amazing "electricutioner" i have been shocked at how many flies, moths and other random flying creatures I've attracted - puns very much intended. However, what also shocked me was the black light that I was convinced wasn't working because I couldn't see it - no pun intended there. Newsflash - it was and is working and you shouldn't touch it when its plugged in....or on at all obviously but I got excited and forgot the bulbs are electrified not the casing around it. So far its been a week and the fly counts gotta be over 100. It makes no noise while running, only when something comes in contact and occasionally when a big one flies in you'll get to experience a micro fireworks show of sorts accompanied by an odd earthy aroma as it clings for life while electricity surges through its little bug body and cooks it to a fragrent medium well. This also comes with a spare bulb for each light which is nice because im clumsy and also have no clue how to get replacement bulbs of this sort. Overall its easy to clean, sleek and fits in the weird corner behind my airfryer and next to that weird green compost bucket the city makes us use. Very portable as long as you have somewhere to plug it in. Can be used standing up to simulate a magic portal found on land or hanging with the provided strap to simulate a floating portal for flying insects. The price is great, especially if you catch it on sale! If you made it this far, you need this! Trust me. Add to cart, get it asap. Dont feel guilty saying you want it delivered at ungodly hours almost immediately, you paid for that perk! You will not regret this impulse buy. Nos a funcionado super bien elimina facilmente a los desgraciados sancudos y a las odiosas moscas. Es placentero escucharlas quemarse.Los focos de luz de otras lamparas ni los atraen y ni nada. Estos si funcionan. No compren basura vallanse por algo bueno.
