This Fire Bowl is Amazing...
This fire bowl is Amazing. I've had many fire bowls over the years and this is by far the best, where some you have to drill additional air holes etc, this has one in the middle and the quality of the bowl is spot on. Its really heavy duty and its massive. I'm sure, to get one of this quality elsewhere would be so much more expensive so Value for money? Absolutely. One thing, when putting it together you may get some of the coating on your hands and fingers so wear gloves but if you are looking for a fire pit for the summer and winter, I would definitely recommend this.

Quality fire pit from a quality seller!
These guys are top notch. My fire pit arrived damaged (nothing to do with the sellers, but the delivery company) and despite it being a bank holiday, Harbour Housewares were on hand to answer every question and sort a replacement! Fantastic service, going above and beyond to look after their customers. The fire pit itself is excellent quality, very sturdy and looks great. I’m looking forward to many happy evenings with friends and family under the stars!

Decent....but NOT cast iron.
Don't be fooled by the description, this is NOT cast iron. It's 3.5mm thick pressed steel as some others have said. There are some stress fractures showing on the surface underneath the bowl presumably as a result of the pressing process. That said it's still a decent product for the price. Large diameter...B&Q bucket for scale, and robust handles and legs. Should easily last a couple of years I think.

Fabulous fire pit
Well made and easy to assemble. Ideal size, will hold large logs easily. Good depth and drain hole pre drilled is a bonus. A great addition to our garden.

Top marks
I've used this twice in the last few days and it is brilliant. Family and friends have really enjoyed it.Firstly, at a diameter of 80cm, this is a lot bigger than most of the others out there. This is also very strong and sturdy and the iron is nice and thick. Very reassuring. It is relative heavy though, so you might need help moving it if you're not particularly strong, although it should be fine for most people. Handles are nice and solid too.You do have to put the legs and handles together with the nuts and bolts provided. I honestly can't remember now if a spanner is provided, but you will need a Phillips screwdriver too. Given the size and weight of the product, this is more easily done with two people but I managed it OK on my own. My advice would be to hand tighten the nut, then hold the nut steady with the spanner and tighten the bolt with the screwdriver (as opposed to holding the bolt steady with the screwdriver and tightening the nut with the spanner). Please don't expect and immaculate product and for it to stay that way. Mine arrive a little bit dirty with some type of black ash/powder on it - it even had someone's handprint still on it! If you leave it outside, it will rust in places too (I've bought a cover for it). It also had some cracking, but it's very shallow and this product is so robust I'm not in the slight but concerned - purely cosmetic. These things really don't bother me; at the end of the day it's a beautiful fire pit and people are mesmerised by the fire, not the pit (although it is a very nice looking unit).I wouldn't think twice about buying this again. Great product, fantastic price. Top marks.

Great size and quality, and reasonable price
In many online ads, difficult to be sure that size you want is the one that translates to the ordered item. This one was exactly as specified, came within 3 days of ordering. Solid and easy to assemble, and a really good size for up to 6, poss even 8, to sit round and feel decent warmth. Lights and burns well though not too fast, depending on wood used (mix of scrap bits and the odd seasoned log or cut up branch). I think the relatively shallow circular shape (rather than square) is optimal for area of fire/flame. Good product, and a friend was suitably impressed to order one after seeing this.Has the single drainage hole though a good idea to invest around £15 in correct size circular waterproof cover (with draw-string). I'm assuming that a very light coating of thin oil wiped over prior to winter storage will prevent rusting.

Bigger, better,really efficient.
Although it took more than one of us to put together as it's quite fiddly to get all the bolts in (I am nearly 70 with dodgy hands!), this is a sturdy and good looking item. Yes it does rust almost immediately, but that gives it a rustic appeal. There is a very efficient air hole in the base and in two sessions it burnt a huge pile of old wood and garden trimmings with very little smoke. It does need two of us to move (see above) but I can see it will be a very useful garden item for both clearing and warming for outside gatherings. It would be dangerous to have too many kids running around, but they should enjoy if properly supervised.
