I want to use this to clean out and do water changes on my fish tanks. What hose does this need? Where do I get it from?

Measured the adapter. It's a standard 9/12mm diameter hose. You'll have no problem finding it. (9mm is the internal diameter and 12mm is the external diameter)

Does it have stonger suction than the battery operated one?

It is a 100% better than the battery operated one. It has 2 speeds so you can choose which one.

Hi julie. No charging! you just plug it in and go... It comes with a little attachment that you can attach a hose to instead of using the filter pads. When using the filter pads it makes quite a mess of the water. But the hose gets it out of the tank. Good tool

Does it recycle or remove the water ?

Great device, it comes with filter pads and works like an underwater hoover, But it also comes with a tubing adapter, just get a couple feet of plastic tube (from most aquatic shops) and you can use it for water changes . I am a big fan of this product. So it recycles and removes.
