There's not much to add to what's already been said in other reviews, but my experience with this dosing funnel has been very positive. I have an E61 58mm toolset, and the funnel fits perfectly on my portafilter.My workflow is as follows:1. Grind into the portafilter without funnel in place2. Add funnel to portafilter and place in tamping station (wooden box)3. WDT4. Remove funnel5. TampThe magnets are perfect (not too strong and not too weak), and the funnel does not move during WDT. When pulling the funnel off the portafilter, it will NOT pull the basket up.Price was very reasonable, and I'm happy I have it along my other espresso tools. Would buy again.

Out of the box it has small dents. None are larger than a mm but there are many which makes it look as though it was tossed around in a bin with other metal objects. Comparing this to a funnel I purchased for less than half the price which is much more nicely finished, this is slightly disappointing. Otherwise, it fits an IMS basket and the magnets are adequate

It's way too expensive for what it does, but had to buy it because it's the only tall funnel on the market that sits on the portafilter without touching the coffee.I use it on a 54mm portafilter and it works great with the 58mm ESPCUP, or a 58mm generic blind shaker, sitting on top of it.The magnets seem to be working, but not that good on the IMS baskets.

I have a Gaggia Classic Evo Pro espresso machine (2023). It came with a single and double shot basket for the portafilter. The baskets are ridgeless, which is nice. However the number of magnetics on the Normcore dosing ring are stronger than the friction of the spring in the portafilter.I put the dosing ring on the portafilter, I poured the coffee grounds in, I tapped them level then I went to remove the dosing ring. When I went to remove the ring, it pulled the basket out of the portafilter because the magnetics were so strong.I have found by putting my thumb in the groove of the dosing ring, pressing down to hold the basket in, tilting one side of the ring up then sliding the ring off I was able to get the ring off without pulling the basket out of the portafilter. After a little practice I was able to do it consistently but it was always a little bit of an effort. In the end, I ended up buying a better basket (IMS) with a ridge and it isn't an issue anymore.
