How do you attach this directly to the wall?

I drilled holes directly trough the wood. And used plugs to screw them against the wall

Wondered what size towel rail is suitable?

I would say any standard used in the uk. The rack has 2 hooks that can be fitted on the horizontal bars. hooks are 37cm appart and fit perfectly my horizontal bars who are 7cm dia.

The white version says it is for a towel rail in the headline but then says wall mounted in the description. Which is it?

It has two brackets at the top that allow it to be hung on a radiator or door, when it’s open. I have mounted it to the wall above the radiator but I’ve had to drill holes into the frame in order to do it.

Can anyone tell me how to fix Airer to towel rail.

Two white hooks (covered in rubber) are located beneath the top horizontal bar. Turn them out and hook to the rail.
