Is this wrap heavy? I broke my ankle and am recovring and need ice, but my ankle gets irritated if too much weight is on it.

Not heavy at all. The wrap itself is soft micro fleece type fabric with Velcro closures. The frozen gel packs add weight but not much!

Will this fit a large foot? Size 12-13?

This is flexible by how it wraps. My husband is size 11 1/2 but foot is huge when gout is acting up, and it still fits.

Is this large enough to use over a posterior splint after ankle surgery?

Yes it wraps with plenty of room for splints

Instant relief & comfortable!

Wow. I’ve been having extreme nerve pain in my foot and ice was the only thing helping. I was strapping the back icepack to my foot but it was really uncomfortable. This is the best thing I could’ve dreamed of. Instant relief all around, exactly what I needed. *of note, it did feel too cold at first but after a few minutes it was perfect.
