This does everything it says it does. Having previously had a cheap bladder the difference is astounding. I’m using it in the laptop section of my Osprey day pack & it works a dream. The bladder is so easy to fill (single handed). Even more importantly, it is amazingly easy to clean & dry - I’ve added a ribbon on the bottom & hang upside down with the plastic top clip inside the bladder mouth to keep it open. This means I’ve had no issues with mould. Despite some of the reviews, I have not have any problem with the taste of the water - yes the mouthpiece is silicon but it’s medical grade, flavourless & I’m not eating the mouthpiece. The insulated straw works well preventing the water heating up too much. The only things that would make it better are 1. if the straw was 2-3” longer &/or 2. if it came with magnetic clips to attach to backpack strap. I have to turn my head slightly to reach the mouthpiece by the time I’ve clipped it to the backpack straps.

Took it on a 6 week offroad motorcycle adventure. It performed very well and kept me hydrated nearly every day.

first time trying a hydrapak product and it is absolute top quality water reservoir, the material and build quality is excellent, perfect size and it fits in all of my backpacks that have hydration sleeves, from my 15L to my 65L. Barely any after taste on the first use, the bite valve is hard enough to bite on and looks like it will hold up for a long time, cleaning is also very easy. The seal when closed is extremely tight, not a chance of any leakage or drops. Excellent reservoir

For someone who needs a high capacity hydration pack, this is it. Going to be using for a week long hiking trip and would rather have 3l capacity even if not filled all the way than run out mid-day. These things famously run out without warning because you can’t see how much is left when it’s deep in your pack. I chose this one deliberately because the clear / white ones always eventually turn yellow so I hope the black one lasts.

i wasn't sure how i was going to hide my addiction and drink milk in public, but this sack is the answer! does it get warm, yes. does it remind me of my mother, sort of. it is easier to get the milk out. i feel like i am getting my moneys worth. and i made a youtube about it, so the dividends are also great. where is the youtube? well, click the link in the description big boy. it will keep you hydrated as they say. should you buy this sack. no. i don't want you to pinch my idea. buy some other cheap knockoff and get your microplastics some other way!!!
