Kindle version has an index
This really is an exhaustive book on the subject of producing. Wonderful.Regarding the earlier review, from some years ago, I can report that the book contains both a table of contents and an index.

I nearly bought it, but it's for the US business (SAG-AFTRA unions etc)
A book like this would be great for filmmakers in Europe, but this is an American book and things work differently there. Only the basic concepts apply, filmmaking in other regions uses different contracts and working practices. SAG-AFTRA don't operate in Europe I'm sure the book's great, but it won't help those outside the US/Canada.

Probably a good book but no table of contents or index...
I can only guess that the other reviews were for the paper book. I've been using Kindle for a while now and have become accustomed to the limitations and advantages. I wanted the book straight away, without having to pay shipping and wait for several weeks.Unfortunately, unless I have a corrupt copy or something, there appears to be no table of contents or index. This makes a book of this size completely unusable on Kindle, in my opinion. I have worked linearly through the first couple of chapters which are well written. I suspect that the content is every bit as good as indicated by the other reviews. My advice is to buy the paper book and wait for a useable Kindle copy to be released. This was very dissappointing.Amazon, please get your act together and ensure that all books you release on Kindle have been properly reviewed and have all the essential controls embedded to make them easily navigable. If, for some reason, you decide to release a book with no navigation PLEASE make this clear to the prospective buyer or expect well written books to be given very poor reviews. I would like to exchange this book for a paper one and pay the difference. The Kindle version is of no use to me whatsoever.
