It’s close but no cigar!
The light itself is nice and works very nice.5 minute install, if that. Now first time I get in the truck and turn on the fan and pressurize the cabin, I noticed a faint howling sound or whistling sound coming from the rear of the cab.Upon investigating, I removed the the light assembly and noticed I had a good seal along the bottom edge of the assembly, from the line depressed in the foam seal, but not at the top of the assembly.I went to the local auto part store and purchased a roll of multi-purpose weather stripping (5/16”x 3/4”x10’) that set me back 20$. I took a good sharp pair of scissors and cut the strip down the center enough that I had two long strips that would cover the circumference of the back of the light assembly. My first intention was to apply the weather stripping to the back of the light assembly, but it did not have a flat surface for the adhesive side of the tape, so I opted to apply to the truck. I applied the stripping along the top of the knock out hole and down around the mounting holes that are recessed in slightly in the body and cut at 45 degree cuts, then applied the second strip along the edge of the knock out along bottom and matched my 45 degree cuts so that when the light assembly is installed it made a nice seal where water can not enter the cab.If you follow this technique, be sure and DO NOT over tighten the mounting screws as you may distort the light assembly and cause it to crack.I checked to see if I could hear the howling/whistling sound after applying the weather stripping and the issue has been corrected, the weather stripping should form a water tight seal so that I don’t get water in the headliner from rain or a car wash.Other than this seems like a good product (looks wise)Performance wise, time will tell.Fitment wise- sub standard- it appeared to me that the assembly is slightly bowed in the center, therefore did not seal against the body of the truck.3 stars.

Good and Bad
The light looks great the ability to rapidly flash is nice to help get other drivers attention when braking. The negative was reverse leds are horrible they don’t really face down enough to see in truck bed. And after installing silicone edges. Had bad leak that I found out because of mildew smell

Nice light
This looks great. Depending on your mechanical skill this will be easy as it gets or challenging.Need to remove old light.. remove headliner, pull it down to access nuts, pry free the old light and scrape and clean the surface of the truck where it was attached. Install new one
