Kids Sand Table Cover - Waterproof, Defoliation Prevention, Anti-UV

So far this sandbox cover has lasted longer than a lot of others. It seemed to stretch out a little. It is somewhat waterproof, keeps most of the water out, but there are still damp areas of the sand.

We got this for our 2 year old and it is perfect. It fits a lot of toys. We are also able to sit in the sandbox and play with plenty of space. The quality seems great for the price. I would buy this again. The top is easy to put on and it looks nice in our back yard verses a plastic sandbox.

The wood included in this kit is very fragile. If you don't predrill every screw hole, the wood will almost certainly split. (See picture) That said, it was easy to assemble. I would recommend using outdoor-rated wood glue for all of the joints to reinforce the dubious structural integrity.I purchased an upgraded cover to replace the included one, which is similar in quality to a dollar store disposable table cloth.I put in 500 lbs. of play sand, (10x 50# bags), and it's not enough. I'm going to put in another 500 lbs. You should expect to spend an additional $80-90 on sand, in addition to the price of the sandbox.

I had the cover on and buckled to the sand table legs and its filled with water. The cover goes all the way down the legs so theres no opening for water to get inside but when i unbuckled the cover to use the sand table it was full of water. It does not keep sand dry at all. Sand is now ruined.

Bought this for a Step2 naturally playful sand table and it fits perfectly. We had a few days of big rain and as you can see from my picture the cover effectively kept it out. There was some condensation underneath (which is not possible to block with a cover, so I am not faulting the product for that) but the table's cover was adequate in keeping that out and the sand stayed dry.

The cover seems to be good quality. It has held up well the last month. It is much bigger than the Step 2 sandbox, though. In the photos it appears to be a perfect fit but it is not.
