rewrite on earlier review.
I wrote an earlier review saying this product did not work after I bought it and installed it. I was wrong. The product did work fine and I did not realize that until I bought another one and then installed it and still the light did not come on. Asking other people I found out that that light does not come on unless the device experiences a surge of power and then it does what it's designed to do, and that light will come on to inform you that it had experienced a surge. All in all the product is simple to install and it is a quick fix to add a search protector to a home.

Simple to mount
Seems to be working fine. It was very simple to install. I love the fact that it's directly on the electrical bus instead of passing through any other breaker first.

Safety
Seems to be working well and at a very good price and a very good brand

Great surge protector
Great value, quality product. NEC requires surge protection. Great design. Our company has ordered probably 50 of these. Never a failure.

Neat and clean
Siemens makes two panel-mounted SPDs required by NEC2020 for dwelling applications. I've used QSA2020SPD in the past. But with all the GFCI/AFCI requirements, the benefit of two 20A single pole breakers is lost. I have recently switched to this device. It's got better specs and cheaper. Having the SPD inside the panel is a neater solution, especially for multi-dwelling apartments.Additional comment: after reading some other's reviews, I must point out those two little windows DO NOT light up. They are either showing green or red to indicate whether a replacement is necessary. There's no LED in there. A small design flaw, I guess. I'll reduce a star for the confusion.

Fits in 90's Murray LC120DC
Snug fit on the bus bar. Fit in the panel and through the cover no problem.

This Item works as Intended. And it is not supposed to light up.
This Item Does Not Have Any lights or LEDs in it, so don't worry if it doesn't light up.It does Not Need any lights or LEDs in it.It is not a circuit breaker, and will not "trip" like a circuit breaker, and then can be reset. The indicator window is only that, a viewing window. If the windows are Green, then the device is working properly. If one or both of the windows are red, that means the device has faulted, and manually flipped the indicator color in the viewing windows.Plain and simple, if this device lights up then you have a major problem.Just trust me, I'm an Electrician and install these all the time. Also, there is No Way to test these unless you want to send a surge through your power meter over what the device is rated for.Go ahead and do that while you blow up everything in your house at the same time.Again it's a surge protective device SPD that operates according to voltage fluctuations, and Not a circuit breaker which operates due to the amount of amps being used. They are completely different things.
