Bonafide Johnston & Jeff product? I don't think so
This seed does not appear to be the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product. Its quality appears to be a lackluster substitute of the real product and the mix is not to same standard as one gets with the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product. I placed equal quantities of the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product and this in separate bowls placed side-by-side in the feed tray. Over the week my birds chose the bowl with the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product over this cheap substitute every time. Picking at this lackluster substitute they all moved to the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product within seconds. By the end of the week I'd topped-up the bowl containing the bonafide Johnston & Jeff product three times whereas the bowl containing this product was mostly untouched not being refilled once. Don't trust what you receive if it doesn't look anything like as pictured.

These are excellent for all garden wild birds as these are added to their other seeds, but can be given on their own and are eaten up by the small to bigger birds, for they contain linseed, rape seed etc. Which are needed for their health and wellbeing.

Bit confused
I was under the impression it was mixed seeds. Like the photo even shows. However when I got it I swear there's only one type of seed in the packet. Unless all the mixed seeds listed are meant to look identical in shape and colour. And another thing the packet is nothing like the photo - comes in two thin clear plastic bags. I guess the birds still like it but probably won't buy again.
