Easy costume idea

Decided to pay tribute to Richard Simmons for Halloween by dressing up as him and trying to espouse the joy he always brought. This costume is great! The shorts are appropriately short, and the wig isn't too bad, either. The tank top has "Sweat It Out" and sequins on it, and both the tank top and shorts are of comfortable quality, a bit like a velour. My only complaint might be the length of the tank top. I ordered the XS, and the tank top was still so long that I tucked it under for the pictures. Had I left it untucked, it looked like I wasn't wearing shorts or anything at all. Outside of that, I'd say an A+ purchase!

This costume was good and everyone knew who I was! With that said, the shirt was huge and the shorts were tiny, which is the Richard Simmons style. I’m a size 6 and always wear a unisex/men’s size small. I ordered the small and the shorts were short and snug! I had to wear leggings under them as I wore this to work. If I would’ve ordered the medium, the shirt would’ve been HUGE!! All in all good costume for the money and I liked that the wig came with it!!

Was ok shorts a little small and shirt a little large

Everything about this costume was great! People loved it! But, the shirt is way too large. Lucky I ordered the medium blue Richard Simmons costume also. I ended up wearing the shirt from the medium blue costume and everything else from the large red costume. The wig, headband, wrist bands and little foam barbells were worth the extra cost. People were knocked out by it.

Sometimes Halloween costumes can be cheap. And you never really know what you're gonna get if you can't even try it on beforehand. But this costume is really, really great! First of all, the material on both shirt and shorts is THICK; almost like a velour or velvet! It's not some flimsy, t-shirt or cotton fabric. This is good b/c it is, after all, October and in most parts of the world where we celebrate Halloween that means it is chilly outside. The fit is also spot on. I got my bf a large since that's his normal size and it fit perfectly. Don't let this picture fool you; the shorts are actually not that long in the front and they go up on the sides, like the original shorts that Simmons wore. The bedazzled front on the tank is great too! We ordered some big scrunch socks from Ebay to top off the costume and it's awesome. Lastly, the wig is WAY better than we expected- it almost looks real and totally captures the Simmons 'fro! I highly recommend this costume; it's a riot.
