Awful webcam
I bought this webcam for my computer, as it is compatible with windwos 8 and the stats aren't too bad. In theory. In actuality, the webcam is completely out of focus and nothing can be done about it. You can't tell the difference between your face and your thumb. I never got a chance to try the mic portion of the webcam...'cause I saw no point when the picture quality is complete garbage. I'm actually baffled by the few good reviews that this product has got and would like to tell everyone to just stay away from this. Pay a bit more and get something that actually works.

Not used as yet ,but not too happy with what i have seen so far
I cant really rate this as I have not as yet attempted to use it. I was however a little surprised at how it arrived. Nothing to suggest its compatability,use where to acquire drivers etc etc. But as I say and I want to reiterate, as yet I haven't attempted to connect to the desktop so my criticism is probably harsh.

Web cam
Bought a new Windows 8, computer, and found my old web cam not suitable. Bought this as it was Windows 8 compatible. Camera set up OK, but found the built in Mic very quiet, so had to fit a separate Mic.

Full use

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Absolutely rubbish. The product description states high definition. This is completely misleading. The microphone only just picks up voice even with settings at max. The picture quality is terrible. DONT BUY THIS ITEM. I guess the 3week wait for for this to be delivered is because it's being posted from 1990.!
