The Rhinowalk Mechanic Black 50-70L is a Great Tail Bag
This is a great bag and definitely should be considered. If you’re a person that likes to stuff as much stuff as you can into a bag, this may not be the bag for you. Initially, I loaded up my bed with all the things I wanted to take and quickly realize I had to downsize. During my stay at a hotel, I learned that the zippers can be a little bit finicky, but as long as you go slow and move the pouch that surrounds the zipper around with your hand, it zips up nicely. I’ve used ROK Straps in the past and although phenomenal, I prefer the strap system that comes with the Rhinowalk bag. The 50-70 L bag expands upward; not sideways and may give you 20 L more, but it doesn’t seem like it. Looks good, retains its shape, feels like quality material and is sturdy. Although I never truly tested it out, its rain wicking capability, I feel that it would hold up well in a good rainfall. All of my things in this bag had garbage bags wrapped around my packing cubes, that way if it rained, I didn’t have to pull over and throw on the Rhinowalk rain jacket. I only had one time during my 5000 mile trip where there was a light rain for 15 minutes and once we reached the hotel and I unpacked, I can attest that it was bone dry inside. The only possibility of rain get inside would be through the zipper. I pulled out the back straps once and only used a single strap to throw over my shoulder to carry the bag in. Didn’t feel too awkward, but that was only going to short distance. Overall pleased with the bag and would purchase again. So after a seven day Sturgis 2025 trip and then going into Nebraska for five days to visit friends and then returning back to Florida in a single day, this bag held up well and the only added equipment that I would require for this bag is small zipper locks, which I fixed by purchasing TSA approved cable luggage locks that they sold as a set. The TSA cable locks are as inexpensive as the non-TSA locks and definitely more rugged and probably rust proof. I have used other duffel bags in the past and they worked fine for getting my luggage from point A to point B, but this gives me a little more room to bring extra things with me and looks like a better dedicated bag for traveling.

Rhinowalk Motorcycle Travel Luggage: Exceptional Quality & Even Better Service!
This Rhinowalk tail bag is an absolutely great product, easily surpassing the two other tail bags I've owned in the past 5 years. It's not just strongly built; its design is incredibly well-thought-out. I love how it can be folded down very flat for storage, and the abundance of pockets is super convenient.I put this bag through its paces on a 17-day trip to Colorado and neighboring states on my BMW GS1250. It was perfect for stashing quickly needed items that had to be easily reachable. It worked perfectly well for that!Just last month, I used it again on a moto camping trip, easily fitting my two-person tent and other camping gear. Once more, it performed flawlessly.A Testament to Their Outstanding ServiceNow for the service part, which, for any product, is equally important. During that same Colorado trip, I completely underestimated an approaching storm and didn't bother to tighten the rain cover. Sure enough, after a grueling three-hour ride through the downpour, I realized the rain cover was gone. I was so bummed!I should clarify that the bag itself holds up incredibly well in reasonable rain. Even after losing the cover, I continued to use it for day rides, and nothing inside got wet during my moto camping trip, despite some rain. However, the thought of taking it on future multi-day trips through storms without a dedicated cover bothered me.As someone who hates buying the same thing multiple times, I tried several third-party backpack rain covers, but none gave me a good, secure fit. As a last resort, I contacted the seller (Rhinowalk Factory) and explained my predicament. To my amazement, they immediately offered to send me a replacement rain cover. Honestly, I wasn't sure if they'd actually follow through. But to my delight, within about two weeks, a brand new rain cover was delivered to my house, complete with free shipping!Final ThoughtsRhinowalk Factory, thank you very, very much. You have truly exceeded my expectations! As a side note, I also own multiple other products from Rhinowalk, and they are all consistently well-built. This brand continues to impress.

Great bag. Very floppy if not full.
Tl:drVery good waterproof duffel bag style luggage.Overall I love this bag. I'd buy this again at the $110 price point.I do question a lot of design choices. There's a rain fly type flap to help waterproof the top entry zipper. But the zipper to expand the sides, as well as the zipper to open both ends, is not covered by this rainfly deal. The zippers are where this bag will leak so why doesn't this cover those zippers? I wouldn't mind a bag without the 2 zippers.Use wise it's great. I love the extra buckles on the top to lash things across the roof of the bag. Perfect size for a 1 person backpacking tent. The material appears durable, and it looks like there's a waterproof lining laminated inside the entirety of the bag. I'd bet without the silly zipper placement mentioned above this would be a reliable waterproof pack. The straps lash very easily to the passenger grab handles of my Tracer. It feels very secure and I have not had any movement, even loaded up and getting thrown back and forth hustling up the mountains. The front straps do cause the front of the bag to buckle if the bag isn't decently full. I did buy this to keep on the bike 24/7, and it doesn't always have a lot of things in it. It looks like it will deform fairly quickly. Only an aesthetic issue though.

Lots of room and sturdy.
I finally got to use this going to bike week in Laconia. 2014 Street Glide. Four and a half hours in the rain, riding up there from NY, with the rain cover on everything stayed dry. Bought a lot of swag, everything fit, including some of my buddy's stuff. A lot of room and very sturdy. I would recommend.
