Cherry Bomb Lives Up to the Name – Tough on Grease, Easy on Hands
Cherry Bomb Lives Up to the Name – Tough on Grease, Easy on Hands I’ve gone through a lot of hand cleaners over the years doing garage work, light mechanical projects, and general dirty jobs around the house, and this Zep Cherry Bomb Hand Cleaner is one of the better ones I’ve used. This is clearly shop-grade stuff, but it’s still very manageable for home use. What I like most is how quickly it cuts through heavy grime. Grease, oil, adhesives, paint residue, and general “black hands” come off fast with just a small amount. The natural pumice gives enough grit to actually scrub things loose without feeling like sandpaper. I’ve even used it dry with a rag when water wasn’t handy, and it still worked surprisingly well. The cherry scent is noticeable but not overpowering. It does a good job masking fuel or oil smells, which is a big plus after working on cars or equipment. Another pleasant surprise is that it doesn’t dry out my hands the way some industrial cleaners do. After rinsing, my hands feel clean and fairly soft rather than cracked or tight. Things to keep in mind: this is a heavy-duty cleaner, so if you have very sensitive skin, you may want to test a small amount first. Also, it can leave a slight slick or moisturized feel right after rinsing; it doesn’t bother me, but if you prefer a totally squeaky-dry finish, you may notice it. The 48 oz bottle is a good value for how long it lasts, and the pump makes it easy to control how much you use, especially in a garage or utility sink setup. Bottom line: If you regularly deal with grease, oil, paint, or stubborn shop grime, this is an excellent, no-nonsense hand cleaner that works fast, smells good, and doesn’t beat up your hands. Easy 5-star choice for anyone who gets their hands dirty.
O**!
Love it.
Need a serious hand cleaner? This works as good or better than any other I've ever tried and I've tried several. It smells fantastic. It's not hard on my hands, the pump works great. Large size so it last a long time. I don't think it's necessary, but I will very occasionally pick it up and give it a shake. It's very economical. You can wipe it off with a heavy paper towel. shop towel... and follow that up, or not, with a water rinse if water is available where you're working.

Decent Hand Cleaner, Bad Packaging
Zep Cherry Bomb is a very good hand cleaner for general purpose shop use. It gets most of the grease and oil stains off my hands that regular soap or duckling rescue dish detergent won't touch. The cherry scent is a pleasing one, though I could do without the excess amount of red dye in the cleaner that makes it look like I'm cleaning my hands with something that came out of The Blob. It does have some trouble tackling dirt and greasy grime from diesel related nastiness, and fails to remove the majority of still tacky adhesive based products from the skin. To be fair, the vast majority of hand cleaners also fail in this area except for the most solvent-heavy ones. Do be careful when ordering this product from Amazon though, as my container was poorly packaged with no leak-protection or sealing, and had leaked about a quarter cup of it's contents out between its 84 mile journey from the Amazon warehouse to my home.

Great hand soap for automotive shops
Some of the best hand cleaner for the price! I own an automotive repair shop and have been buying this stuff for years. All my guys love it. Doing what we do the most important thing is that it cleans our hands quickly so we can get back to the next task. Not only does it do that well buy also leaves your hands smelling good and feeling soft. Also some hand cleaners can cause your sink drain to clog pretty regularly from the grit, but i have yet to have that problem with this stuff.
