Used these in wife's office and our laundry room. They work great to dampen reflective sound on the metal cabinet and closet doors. Also used them to dampen the sound coming from the laundry room which is right next to the living room. Very noticeable difference in noise reduction. Works as advertised. Lightweight so I used 3M squares and did not need to peel the adhesive backing to mount. Easy to cut to fit. This is my second purchase of these. They work.

They are great for decor but not amazing for sound deadening. They hold fine on a vertical wall but do not hold on a vaulted angled ceiling. I had to use finishing nails to get them to stay, but I didn't necessarily expect them to hold on to the ceiling.

They do the job especially when having guests over around nosy neighbors. Although you can hear distinct sounds so not as well in quantity. The foam ones I hear are better

Easy to set up in my office and have held about 3 weeks on wall and seem like they are not going anywhere! notice a big difference in my room not being so echoey!

These rectangular, flat sound absorbing panels are designed to reduce the amount of sound/noise transferred from one room to another through a wall ... or reduce the amount of reflective sound/noise within a room. They are made from a dense, condensed felt-like material with a self-adhesive backing to hold them in place on the wall surface. A bit of geometric design is carved into their surface to give them a less boring appearance. Their size is somewhat peculiar, but they can be fairly easily cut to fit the available space if necessary. Depending upon your application (total sound isolation or just reduction of reflections) they can be mounted in either a solid block area or spaced out across a wall in an attractive pattern.My application is to reduce the noise level coming from an air compressor through the wall and ceiling of an adjoining work room (and elsewhere in the building). These sound absorbing panels have noticeably lowered the noise transmitted to those other areas although i am still working on reducing it even more in those adjoining rooms as well as the noise escaping from the compressor room to the outside.
