That is the only Touchless Trash Can on Amazon which you can use in the kitchen under-sink cabinet or under the desk. We tried many of them, and had to return all. Almost all touchless trashcans have the proximity sensor instead of the motion sensor (as advertized). They keep sensing sink bottom or cabinet top wall, and they stay opened or keep opening and closing indefinitely. That one has the real motion sensor and works really good in our kitchen under-sink cabinet. We purchased the second one for under the work desk. Highly recommended!

Cannot stress how much convenient this is to be able to just be able to put trash in there and keep it nearly organized. Yes it does use batteries but I've had it now for more than a month and the batteries don't seem to be anywhere near depletion. I like remember for an efficient organized bathroom

Was really excited when I bought this for my kitchen. I even bought another for recycling. The motion sensor AND the open/close button broke within weeks. I figured this was a random fluke and bought a replacement. Again, it broke within a couple months. The product description says you can use your foot to activate it by waving it in front. That doesn’t even work. No info on how to fix the motion sensors. Very disappointed in this purchase. I have to buy an entirely new trash can for the third time—this time I’ll be sure to choose another brand.

For the most part it opens and closes pretty good I guess. However they either sent me the wrong one or they completely lied about it's features! First of all mine is not 4 gal. it is 2.5 gal., also it only has the one motion activated feature. It only opens by waving your hand within about 6 inches or so of the top. It absolutely does not in anyway whatsoever have the "infrared and vibration induction" features that it very clearly shows and advertises in the pictures, where it shows that you can open it by bumping it with your foot. Which unfortunately is one of the main reasons I chose this one. Also the lid is not at all silent as advertised. It is quite noisy and clacky, especially when it closes, but it's not that big of a deal or something you couldn't get used to. I believe that this company also sells a smaller more basic 2.5 gal version and what I think happened is that unfortunately they sent me that one instead of this one like I ordered. Overall to be honest I wish I hadn't purchased it. It's not what I thought I was buying. It's just too small and doesn't function the way I expected it to.

Bought this for my teen for their makeup station, it’s perfect for throwing away cotton swabs etc when you are mid makeup or skincare routine with the auto lift lid.

It's a good quality, small trash can. It fit my space in the bathroom great, I needed something this size, so I am very happy with the purchase. Motion sensor works great, just pop in some batteries and you good to go. Opening and closing is smooth. It's very anesthetically pleasing in appearance. If you are looking for a small, simple trashcan, this one is for you.

We purchased this for camping with a small dog who likes to get in the trash. Problem solved! It was also great when hands were dirty as we just waved our hand over it and it opened. Great buy!

It worked well for the first few times, but then after about 2 days, the lid would only open halfway, and now it doesn’t open at all. I tried changing the batteries, but it still doesn’t open, so it must be a motor issue or something. The light still flashes green and I can still hear the motor whirring as I wave my hand in front of the sensor, but it doesn’t open at all (even when I press the button) which defeats the entire purpose. Maybe I got a badly made one, but I hope I can get a replacement
