Highly Recommend!!!!Just put small pieces of ice and turn it on!!! Do not add water due to ice melts.

I can buy 6 desk fans for this price. A $15 box fan cools better than this. This is not a cooler. It is a small fan. It sprays mist to humidify. It was so hot in my home I had to remove my shirt. When I much rather wear clothes. I am covered in sweat. Bought this to cool off my workspace when sitting at my desk and bed when sleeping. Useless. I still had to have no shirt. It was still hot. When sleeping I initially had it on a stand blowing above me. Of course because I would get the cooling if under it. But no cooling. I had to lower it to blow directly on me. And it's still hot because it is just a mini-fan that does no cooling. Avoid this product like a plague. Returned.

I can still use it but the misting part stopped working within 4 days. It did a pretty good job with the help of my other artic air jet on the other side. I live in Missouri and it does get humid, it be great if it had the option of turning the mister off and on. LOL mine is off for good... but be nice if you had the choice. It's pretty small for the cost as well. Also be great if you could buy additional Ice racks for all of the artic airs. The Jet is far louder than this XL. I am not sure there is anything XL about the size or the power. Just moves... which is cool almost all the way around and back.

Update after 2 weeks: After being sparingly used for 2 weeks, one of the three micro fans stopped working, and returning to get a new one.The cooling impact is good. It sounds a bit more than other products I have, but that's not a big deal. My other unit does not have oscillation, and that is a big plus for this product. I just used it in my office instead of AC for the entire floor. It has Good Cooling effects and saves money from running AC for the entire floor.Handle to carry around for this light unit would make the product complete. Surprised to see no easy way to carry this everywhere. That is a shame on the designer.Otherwise, all good ( at least for now ). It is better to go with 2 year warranty when you buy.Enjoy and beat the summer!!

EDIT: Coming back to drop this review to one star, because after a week of not using it I turned the unit on only to find that all of the misters have stopped working entirely.I bought this to help take the edge off during a heat wave, and while it serves the purpose okay, it's an irritating little thing. Very poor design for the water tank- you cannot remove it, and it can only be filled directly from the top of the unit by pouring water into the embarrassingly small opening between the fan chambers. So unless you have an exceptionally steady hand expect it to leak while you're refilling. The misting fans on mine became faulty after only ONE DAY of regular use. I had to fiddle with them for a few minutes before they started producing vapor again. Very disappointing results from a nearly $80 product, absolutely not worth the money.

If you wanna risk this very cheap piece of electronics breaking after 60 days & you're willing to forego all your money after that, feel free to get it. Mine just stopped working. The company claims Amazon is responsible for return or replacement. Amazon says see the manufacturer. This company makes commercial fridge/freezer products, but they don't handle the Chill Zone products. Contacting through the ChillZoneXLFAQ.com site got me the run around from their customer service who finally ended the thread with..."Amazon doesn't not state a time period for warranty! "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website". The unit is out of warranty - 60 days."They did everything they could to find a reason not to help with their cheap product. BUYER BEWARE!!!
